Cease Fire offered. I was wondering ... "We wish the ambitious citizens of Transterminus a great future within the Greek realm." I don't see that city any more as Greek near the dye fields. Is it possible to remove a city?

I think it might be possible upon transfer, but definitely not once you've accepted it. In civ4 it is impossible to remove your own cities.

I said it because the Arabs posted that they have complied with what the Ottos requested and have offered a cease fire.

Taking this occ discussion from the story thread

What happened ... I approached the coast saw your settlements and some free land between your cities by the river. I had in game sent a diplo message which I didn't receive a response to. I thought you didn't have an objection.

But I see now you never saw the message. It happens ... blimps on the screen depending on keys entered you likely closed it without seeing the message.

I should have sent a PM. But perhaps you could have done too rather than just declare in the story thread its war and wipe me out

Looks like I'm too late to the table to get a foot hold in the new world. Oh well.

Totally nothing to do with our diplo game, but I just discovered the theme Apolyton Ash, I like it, much easier on the eyes because of the black, grey and red...

My new regime has a new way of doing things!

In any event, the city placement was awful (no offence), there was not even a real benefit for you to have it there.

I would have done it more diplomatically except you can't erase a city so the only option was to raze it.

I wanted to maintain as much goodwill as possible though and did spare your units and offer free passage home.

Hope that explains things...
