Ok, this is the deal: (most probably only a misunderstanding)
- Factually the war between Russia and Byzantium did not end yet
- We all acted like it ended anyway
- Turn timer was back to 12 hours
- Byzantium double moved to be able to play his turn in time (no harm was done)
Then there are some in-game troubles:
- Russia never signed the treaty while it is this treaty that made us all believe that the war was over
- Persia then claims there never was a treaty
Which is all in-game and not a problem of course, BUT:
- Then Russia double moved and used this double move to catch Rhodes
Now did is not an evil cheat from Russia! (read it carefully: it is NOT!)
But it leads to the unwanted situation that there was a double move that harmed Byzantium which would not have been allowed during wartime!
Now we can continue in 3 ways:
option 1: Russia quickly writes a story post in which it accepts the treaty and so does Persia (then Byzantium won't call for a reload)
option 2: We reload back to the beginning of the turn before the current turn to undo Russia's double move
option 3: we reload back to the beginning of the 2nd turn before the current turn to undo all the double moves
Option 1 is the best option b/c it won't change the course of the game, but it can only be done if it fits the stories of Persia and Russia (no pressure on you guys to alter your stories!)
Option 3 is the fairest option to all parties if all stories are indeed what they are
Option 2 is a good way to undo the wrong without going back too far (Byzantium's double move never harmed anyone, but this is only ok if Russia agrees)
So the ball is in the court of Persia and Russia now.
Thanks all in advance for cooperation
Let's find a good solution here.

Purely Out of my character:
I'm sorry that my story is a bit confusing.
It's just story that I killed my Guru Ahm'Az. I did not intend to not honour the treaty. That's why I immediately offered fur to Byzantine. (that's my only part in the treaty, I think). That way I wanted to show that despite that Ahm'Az is gone and forgotten (who was he again?) Persia will live up to the deal.
I can't speak for Russia.
I'm ok with any of the options. I never had any intention to pull something on Byzantine here. I'm sorry that my story caused this.Force is always beside the point when subtlety will serve

RP if you read the stories of both carefully they both basicaly agreed to the treaty and Russia has now done what he was told he could do by the Byzantines. And you can't go by Persias word because as we all know Persia ic is full of BS and does anything to make themselves look good. I think you are just over reacting alittle and the game should be unpause so the two of them can offically end the war next turn. The civ formerly known as The Holy Empire of Britannia/dutch

Tssss, all those false in character accusations against Persia!!!!
Don't anger the Guru!
But seriously, I agree with Britannia*, this is what Russia said:
And most worryingly, despite the peace offer being agreed upon by all parties, the Byzantines had not yet handed the city to Persia.
It's clear that Russia agreed with the peace offer.
So option 1 is the right option.
*Britannia, does that mean that we're both full of bs or am I not full of bs this timeForce is always beside the point when subtlety will serve

Ok - I don't want to cause a problem and I know that others have key moves to make too.
So lets go with it. But guys, it was a double move made against me in war-time which cause the loss of a city, which I was about to refortify because of the diplomatic unclarity and unwillingness to publicly affirm the treaty by as I see it both Russia and Persia. If feels to me as if both have enjoyed not actually affirming the treaty, playing with it etc., but then wanting to claim it is peace-time when it comes to a double move.
But I guess it was just a mess and not intentional. And hey, we want to play civ.
So I will go forward on the basis that in the future I will quote Russia and Persia as both having agreed to the treaty, and I won't be happy if they then say 'oh no we never did!'.
Unpause it.
Thanks for taking my concern seriously RP.Βασιλεύς Βασιλέων Βασιλεύων Βασιλευόντων

I'm sorry for not being clear, Byzantium.
I always wanted to honour the peace deal publicly and completely. I even already offered the fur to you. (while my 2nd fur has not been connected to my network yet!)
This was just about forgetting Ahm'Az, like my real first Guru, Far'Az had to be forgotten. That's my storyline, my gurus all disappear into the nothingness b/c of their actions. I wanted to line this disappearing up with the building of the Fat Hastogianistic Shrine.
If I would have known that this confusion would arise I would have waited a bit longer and/or made myself more clear. I'm sorry.Force is always beside the point when subtlety will serve
