How did you do it? Please tell me that you did it at least by sailing around the globe yourself and not by sharing maps with Britannia......
on a side note: congrats
If people read my posts over the months they would have seen i posted about sending a navy to explore world.
We discovered a new continnet long ago Called South Korea.
We then follwoed that coast line to the east and west and found the world was round.
We are the only ones to have sailed the world. Even your attempts were mostly land based as you simple saield West from Persia to around Indian Continnet.
I achieved my goal for game LOL
Korea wanted to sail the world and we did .... I guess everyone else was too busy ignoring us...

Well, congrats on your achievement, it's just a bummer that we did it during the same turn, and you got it because you are first in the player-list.
I know that you were busy on it, and I also feared that it would be close. Then you made that story post just after I did mine, and I knew that I was screwed b/c you're first in line.
Congrats anyway
You deserve it! (but so did I )Force is always beside the point when subtlety will serve

I'm sorry for being financial
I picked the leader because it never had been picked before and because I wanted to run an evil story maybe ending with Ahmedinedhad. And organised was a main reason for me to pick it.
I also believe that being organized helped me more then being financial. It's not for no reason that I was able to settle that many cities.Force is always beside the point when subtlety will serve

It's true that some traits are better than the others, but it's more important to know how to use a trait to get the most from it. Financial doesnt worth much without cottages, ind. without building wonders etc. I didn't want to play with India.. my first pick was Egypt, then Rome, then Greece, then England , then Inca.. I'd had played them differently.
My favoritve leader btw-and I think She's the strongest-is Elizabeth, followed by Huana Capac. I've never really played with Pericles but He should be very strong for an early combo: cheap library, put two scientist into it early-> getting academy quick. Also cheap libraries+cheap universities->building Oxford u. is easier.
