Also, I would be interested in the next diplogame, provided there is a clear rule set that is adhered to.

@Pinchak 'Toys out the Pram' is an English expression meaning getting OTT angry. A Pram is what I believe you guys call a baby buggy.
I believe that Cyber is going to start a new Thread regarding another game to sort out players and rules. Hopefully we can get things done with all the lessons learnt from BtP still fresh in our memories.
I like the sound of your espionage plan - who can we get in as no.3?“Quid latine dictum sit, altum videtur”

Did I throw a fit over Roberts handling of the Korea/Greek incident? Your damn right I did. I'm surprised everyone didn't put their foot down. The way that was handled was ridiculous. I do feel bad about the name calling though, that was immature and misdirected at the time.

for Pinchak.
I too loved the map, as Jeroen said there were some really great geographical choke points!!!! WELL DONE. I especially loved the ones between Rome and Russia and between Persia, Natives and Rome. Those mtns ranges were great! I really hope we have something similar in the next game.

The shape of the continents was very good.
Very surprising, generating important naval choke points.
Good inner seas. I think the 'big' continent was in general more interesting then the meduian one though.
The size was too large.
I think that the map could've been 75% of the current size.
Apart from that I would not prefer 2 continents that far away from each other anymore.
I think the interaction between both continents should be much easier.Formerly known as "CyberShy"

Pinchak,
I thought that the map was genius.
You clearly refused to play it safe and ensure that everyone got exactly the same, and everything was the same. Instead you produced a map full of variety, some excellent sites, some desolate areas, real choke points, real strategic decisions.
This boldness meant that people would always have reason to complain about the map. Some of those complaints might have been jsutified, in the sense that not everything was 'the same'/'fair', though often the map was just an easy target.
But the point, as i understand it, was that it was a map made not to be the same for everyone (though it looks to me like the starting locations were well thought through) - but it was made to make a great diplo game. For that I think it was really well designed.
In retrospect I think that the two separate continents was a mistake, although even then it is possible for us to think that the separation forced the 'unified meduia' aspect of the game, when in fact 'united meduia' was a produce of how people played not of the geography. But the two continents etc. was a constraint you were given, not your creation.
So overall I think you did a great job with its creation.
