what is required to be host?

'Tis only a jest. Catholic sacrements require both body and blood of the saviour. Hence the bread is the 'Host' ie body and the wine is the 'Blood'. Analogous to the feeding of the five thousand and crucifiction.if you are into your New Testament that much. I was brought up a good Catholic boy so had to absorb all of the ceremonial nonsense. BTW. The wine tastes like vinagar but is still fun if you can nick some from the vestry when you're twelve!

the bread of the lord's supper has nothing to do with the feeding of the 5 thousand.
The bread refers to the body of christ, the blood to the blood of christ. No reference is being made anywhere to the feeding of the 5 thousand (or 4 thousand)

BTW, I doubt that that's what Rasputin asked
@Rasputin: you need to have a very stable internet connection with a (stable) computer that's online 24/7 and a well configured router/firewall that won't block players from entering the game.

You also need imho oftenly be available to react quickly to incidents and situations.

From my understanding it should not mater as long as it is able to take the abuse of being on 24 7.

When yall get a new game rolling, I would seriously love to be a part of it. I am new to the genre, but willing to play by the suggestions and learn. I really hope to be a part of a diplo sometime here.

I honestly think it will only take another couple of months now so not long to wait.

If we're going for another game of the same scale then it's a big ask for the host.

How many others have got either the hardware or dedication of Cyber to actually do it? How many players are there who genuinely can last the course on a game that will probably last a year and require positive input rather than just looking at the points and powergraph? If you have limited free time then, as I have discovered, a Diplo-Game is bloody hard work.
