Since 3 civs are going on leave switching to a 24h timer may be a good idea.

We can do that for a week and then switch back to an 8h timer for another 25 turns.

Reading your reactions to my suggestion, that seems the best solution. Agreed?

Ok, from the next turn on it'll be 24 hours / turn. (I've configured it as 22 hours, the pitboss itself will magically add 2 extra hours, like our past turns were 8,5 hours)

The turn will still end sooner when all civs have ended their turns!

Next week (saturday or something) we'll evaluate the 24 hours timer and decide if we go on with an 8 hour (or 12 or 16 hour) timer, or stick to the 24h timer.

Is it just me or is the quietest diplo game ever. less than 10 posts of stories afterr so many turns and so much interaction of meeting new civs.

Why not just go with 12 hr turns so everyone else doesn't have to wait forever. That’s just my opinion since nothing really exciting has been going on with the exception of the Maya Korean war that didn't even last that long. Besides the others could find temp replacements till they get back. I just don’t see why we have to change everything for 3 civs. What about the other 15 civs? Must we all stop what we are doing for only 3 players? Anyways I’m not the one in charge so whatever cyber wants I won't fight it.

It's a pitboss game, Rasputin.
In 'normal' games only 1 session would've passed.

There are MANY story posts compared to 'normal' diplogames.

Not to mention that quantity doesn't always equal quality.

I only got 24 post!!! I thought i had more. I better start thing of stuff to write before the Viking get too far head of me.

@Japan: I'm not in charge either
I thought we would switch to 24h/turn after 75 turns anyway, which is about now.

If others agree with Japan I'll put it back to 12 or 8 h/turn.
