the e-mail address at which you want your turn-notifications delivered. An address you check most often. You can mail it to me, if you didn't do it already.

I include important game messages in it, I don't use the civstats mailer because it's not possible to do that with civstats.

Once you have clicked on that link you might need to register with civstats. Also I going to get rid of the cloak of anonymity. It is just too confusing for me to know when i am myself or my pitboss civ so I will just do what. I accidentally posted in another area in my Pitboss log in forgetting which one I was so I will just say that I am Spain and thus not worry about having log in twice every time I want to play the game plus I don't want to change my name for when I play this game, so If you missed before I am Spain.

archery is not a possible starting tech.
hunting and mining are.
archers can be build after you discovered archery.
You can research archery after you researched hunting.

@Rasputin: civstats is just an easy way to figure out who has and who hasn't finished their turns. There's no real need to register there. You don't even have to go there. it's just for easy reference. I suggest that we don't use the msg system there.

@classical_hero: too bad, but oh well..... if that's what you want.....

Me myself are going to use MSIE to post my CyberShy messages and Firefox to post my Pitboss messages. That way I never have to logout and/or confuse myself.

Two threads will be much easier to read. And you won't have any trouble finding them since they will be linked (on page one) to each other.

It dosen't make much sense to make continents unreachable if they don't have sperate story threads.


Two story threads are easier to read than one (if the first post of each links to the other). Imagine 18 people posting stories! It will be chaos you won't know who is posting for which turns (since we don't even have sessions). With a few posters in one and a few in another it is easier to keep track of each individual civs story thread.

And BTW we decided on this long ago in the old org thread. People saying "I don't know why we are doing this" should have said that before. Its not like it hurts anyone.


Also Pinchak, if you want you can just mail people from one continent and tell someone else to mail the other. In any case it shouldn't take more than 15 min. You just make a mali telling a guy he is on Gondwana or whatever you have decided to call the continent. Copy the text mail it 8 times. Then do the same with the other continent.


BTW I do think you should name the continents. The homleand continents never get named in normal diplo games, only inhabited ones do. (Think of HOTW12, we have Madagascar, New France, New Holland but the old continent still dosen't have a name)

Yes, I noticed some civs had archery listed as a starting tech, but I assumed this was some sort of game formality (i copied the code exact).

Cyber, you should go back in the code and delete all instances where for some reason the game gave a civ 3 starting techs.

I will send the emails when i get home from work.

Also... I assume this first turn is on a 24 hour timer, right?

What do we do? Restart? It's only day one..... maybe that's for the best..... I wait for the first 3 to comment, if all of them agree to restart without the extra techs, we restart.

Sorry to hear that, hope more civs don't follow you. It seems a lot of people are posting with their normal accounts in this thread.

BTW You will still be using the diplo mail right?
