Second Pitboss Diplomacy Game

One hour earlier would be great for me. I expect everyone to be there at that time, with one guy missing we go ahead and he can jump in, with more than one we wait untill the original start time and use that to decide all the little details that we still need to sort out.


Now if black dragon can make it... if you can't would you be ok with the rest of us starting one hour early and you loggin in and joining the game as soon as you can?
If this is a complete no go, we will compromise and have the time half way.

People, who will host this nonpitboss start? I can be a back up host but I would prefer to have someone witha better machine.

The game will be in the lobby, the password will be the same as it is for all pitboss games Vamp, OzzyKP, Pinchack and Me all know it, so if you don't contact any of us. Also I would ask everyone to be on MSN, PM any of the above guys to get my MSN and add me. We will need a way to organise ourselves outside the game.


The game will be called the Infinite Diplomacy, don't worry if you don't like the name we will get a new one once we go to pitboss format. After the session I will also start a new story thread.

I think its best we don't do direct IP, its simplest to organise something like this in the lobby. Do you have a problem with lobby games?


You can play lobby games right? Some people with unstable connections sometimes can't do IP or lobby.

The lobby will periodically disconnect your game if you use the lobby. As long as you have either a static IP address, or get a dyndns.org address, DirectIP is by far the best answer for PTBS games.

I am a bit disappointed none of the top players choose a New Earth, since it is the weakest civ, I’ve decided that I will play it even though I hate the -2 happines and -2 health in any case this is diplo, I hope someone will take pity on me if I fall last.

I’ve decided to give Rasputin the weakest player, who entrusted me by saying he will be happy with anything…. One of the better civs, I struggled whether to give him the forge which is an industrial powerhouse or the syndicate, I decided that the -1 food hit could cause a weaker player to stagnate if he neglected food, at the same time the cheaper commerce buildings and the production & food bonus brought by trade routes makes the Red syndicate civ well suited to good diplomat.

Pinchak is perhaps a bit overpowered with the forge, but he is a good diplo player and story teller, that is one of the reasons I am certain he will adhere to diplo etiquette.

Ozzy and Vampeglus I hope you two aren’t upset at getting your last pick, you where both beaten by other players who sent their choices literally minutes before you, but I consider you two to be the best players in this game so I am confident both of you will do very well.

Blackdragon921 your civ is evil, pure and simple, you get free upgrades and cheaper military infrastructure, your corporation is said to be bent on galactic conquest in the background story, I hope you like this.

We haven't managed to find a host for our pitboss game. This is a normal session that will let us jumstart the game and keep interest in the game for another week as we try to find a host.

I cannot join lobby because i am using a no-cd patch. So direct IP will be a must-have. (i got static IP)

BtW : Me among the two best players ? I played that mod for 3 evenings ! Anyway... Brotherhood is fine for me. Got nice ideas about my personalised background story.
