5-3. I guess the voting has reached an impasse.

Incas prefer pitboss to no sessions at all. So I think we could put them under yes.


You see we would still play normal sessions every weekend all of us could make it. Pitboss would just be a supplement to keep us in the game during the weeks between sessions.

The alternative is that we put HOTW12 on hold for a indefinate period untill all 8 players can make it or we find a several subs to compliment the now almost regularly missing players.

Exactly. I said this ages ago.

Nothing to lose, it keeps the game ticking over and then we have full sessions as and when we can.

We just need a server. I can't at the moment (but could haved some time ago and will be able to in the future)

I wonder if Cyber could run another instance of Civ on his pitboss server?

And still lets no forget we have a reliable sub as Agent. The problem with this game is that this is the 1st diplo ever that we stop playing sessions now when we do to not having all the players.

Previous Diplo's played on with sometimes ppl missing. This is a good and a bad thing, but at least game got finished.

Hi guys,

let me start off by saying that HOTW12 has been one of the best games I've ever played and that some of the players here are really nice and interesting people.


But I can't continue this. You, see I have for the past month been trying very hard to keep this a part of my life. I've done some thinking, and with the help of someone I respect and love decided to leave this game, stop playing civ and leave poly in general. The effort I spent would have been of better use somewhere else. I've sometimes hinted that all is not as it should be in my life, and let me say it has only gotten worse. I'm afraid some of this has filtered through and has show itself in a changed tone of diplomacy, posting and play. I've taken a step back, thought about what I'm doing and what I intend to do...


I have come to the decision that I should spend the time I have left in a different manner. A more productive, a more active manner, something that affects the people close to me.


I'm going to change the password of my account to something random. I will then send the old password and the new one to Lz(who was a kind of coordinator for HOTW12 during the first few weeks) OzzyKP and Nols (who are the civs that don't used anon logins) trusting that they will give it to the next player you will find for France and tell him to change it. I will also give them the MSN account password and the diplo mail password, so they can all be used for the remainder of this game or for future diplo games.

Sorry France,

Life gets busy for everyone. Our very long diplo games eventually get tied up in our real life issues. (which is why I've asked so often for a slightly faster game speed)

I've messaged agreatagent to see if he'd like to take France. He seems to like the diplo game is a wonderful writer as well, and probably is keen for role playing.

My best to you in your path ahead. Keep in touch on YIM. Perhaps one day I will come to visit you.
