Aussie, any news on your connectivity problems?
Did you try things out with arvcran and beta in a new game test environment or something?

Maybe you should set something like that up.
If you can post the router/modem type you have, we can search for an online manual and try to help you out.

i think we got to the bottom of it.

ics was enabled giving his pc a different ip to the one in the router that had the ports forwarded.

so disable ics (Internet Connection Sharing) anyone who has it on.

So you guys tested joining an MP game together?

I am able to play this coming Friday - I had mentioned to Toni I may not be able to.

Also the one turn we forwarded without Etheopia canceled a deal with me - would prefer to start from the previous sessions save if possible.

That's what I suggested during the failed attempt, that he might have gotten a new IP from his router while his router forwarded civ to the other IP
