since we are talking about HOTW12-I have had an idea for awile about how we woudl play HOTW12 and i think ive said it in games more than once but i jsut want ot repaeat it here-It would be really cool if HOTW12 was played like an earth game. CS/Ozzy could put certin civs chosen by players(example lets say arvcran wanted england they would put that as one of the civs) and leave the AI in or out(that part is debatable) we do try to make this realistic...it cant get any more realistic than ACTUALY playing earth itself

anyway, I was suggesting using HOTW10, the Epic game as a tryout for new stuff, including playing an Earth or Europe map. and then when HOTW12 rolls around we will have some experience with it to see how it works and can decide if we want to do it again or if we should stick with the random terra/continents/big+small.
knowing where things are will create a strange effect on the whole "exploration"/expansion phase...Diplogamer formerly known as LzPrst

I think thats a great idea. In my eyes it be nice to have HOTW started by the end of January. I hope you guys give em a chance to reedeem my mistakes ive made In HOTW11. I would rather be a player instead of a sub for HOTW12, but thats for you guys to decide.I do not know how World War III will be fought, but i do know that World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.

Hey guys. Regardless of the type of map the next HOTW game is played on, can I suggest an excellent mod to use?
Its one I picked up from CivFanatics & it helps to ensure that exploration remains important throughout the entire period pre-Paper. Essentially, its a Python Mod which randomly makes squares become blacked out for you the longer the square remains unexplored & the further it is away from your territory. After Paper is discovered, the chance of this happening declines significantly, but it helps ensures that explorers & scouts remain a vital part of your game.
Anyway, its just a suggestion!
Aussie.
