MasterDave and I started pretty close. He moved a Combat I Warrior toward my capital. I did the same. At the last minute he offered peace telling me he "wouldn't be able to survive on only 3 cities". Long term that meant we had to fight so I decided to make it sooner than later.
He tried hooking Horses up and got a little unlucky when trying to remove my Warrior from a Forest tile that was blocking the Road he had built. He was finally able to finish it off but my second Warrior on the scene managed to capture his Worker. I think he thought he could move it but it had already spent its moves on the Pasture it was building. After I deleted it and my Archers arrived on the scene he called it quits.
I have to admit that's not the type of game I'm looking forward to in rah's Saturdays, but the map definitely put us against each other very early. Early-game warfare Warrior skirmishes can be fun but sometimes they can be deadly and that makes them unfun for at least one player.
Edit: Also, I had no Horses or Copper within easy reach, so I was afraid Jaguars.Last edited by Dominae; August 4, 2007, 21:13.And her eyes have all the seeming of a demon's that is dreaming...
