bah....I may not be here the next time we play. Going to california either this weekend or next to see an old friend (he's even buying my ticket). I will try and find a sub does anyone have a list of those who might be interested?A university faculty is 500 egoists with a common parking problem

I got some more contact info.
I'll spread the new info as soon as I've gathered everything.
I would be great if people would:
- enable e-mail notification when new PM arrives
- enable pop-up notifucation when new PM arrives
- allowe e-mail through apolyton (your e-mail address isn't revealed)Formerly known as "CyberShy"

Ok so was going to belief.net to learn more about Buddhism since thought I went to a very good liberal arts school I doubt the bit I got about it in my humanities courses wouldn't be enough. When I'm there I see a link for something called a belief-o-matic so I clicked on it. Is a very interesting quiz but they start off by saying
Warning: Belief-O-Maticâ„¢ assumes no legal liability for the ultimate fate of your soul.
ROFLMAO. If after you die you came back to sue them I think the news for the site would be worth what ever they had to pay....
Ok so the belief.net doesn't seem to give a good general description of what Buddhism is...where is a good place to find this out? I expect they don't give a good description because there are so many different kinds and definitions....need to find a copy of the sayings of the compassionate Buddha.
Ah ok never mind just signed up for the encyclopedia Britannica which I used as a kid and trust waaaay more than wikpedia (yes I am an elitist) they have a 101 page article on Buddhism think that will have enough info for me.Last edited by dacole; March 2, 2007, 11:21.A university faculty is 500 egoists with a common parking problem
