Ok here are my starts.

So who decided that we use large low seal lvl map? I vote for huge normal seal lvl. Some of the starts, 4 turns and i met already too many scouts. Being terra there is even less land on large map.

I'd say that Beta's start is sufficiently bad to warrant us not using 5b. Or at least not using the Americans at 5b.

Only Dacole and Nolan didn't read the PM yet. (and Levi and Kuno)
But Levi posted in this thread yesterday.

I've sent an e-mail to Dacole and Nolan.

CS i have contacted Nolan, and all is good there. We talked earlier and she will check the start options later today.

Ok if Dacole doesn't show up, what will we do with that extra civ?

As Beta said, maybe he can check the starts of the other civ and let us know how it looks.

I think finding a consensus through voting for the most popular map is going to make for the best game IMHO

Someone like Raz would be great for the American start.

A good one/two city starting civ = massive quick growth, low maint, diplo possibilities galore!!

I can't chose between these 3 maps.
They all have their pro's and their cons.

If any player doesn't show up friday (Except kuno) without notification then I suggest we regenerate 2 new maps without that civ. I don't think it's best if we start with an AI.

That Beta-America map is really the worst I've seen in ages
Not only tundra but no expansion possibility as well, some sub-island, and it takes like 15 turns to walk to another possible spot to found your city

If Dacole won't give a sign of life I suggest we play without him and without a AI for him.
