So what do we do?

Stick with the usual time slot and loss frank , but then if we change to starting later we will loss CS. So either way we will go down to 8 players.

I think it is more fair to all if we stay with the current time slot. Because all have agreed on it and adjusting the time now will get confusing. Lets finalize this please so we know.

How many players did u had in HOTW5, was it 8? If it was you had a great game nevertheless right? So if we drop to 8 things will be good as well.

And i may be willing to go to larger map then

Ok, I'm going with Lizzie. Not as easy a choice as CS thought though. I had a strong alternate candidate. (even after my 1st and 2nd choices were picked). But this requires me to step outside of my comfort zone. Typically I am a wonder whore, a religion whore, and a spiritual pro. i.e. the old Gandhi was perfect for my style. No doubt a factor in why I did so well in HOTWV.

Financial is actually a trait I rarely ever use. I figure it is just too powerful and makes the games too easy. So I'll have to get used to it. And Philo intrigues me, but is again not something I've used much, so I'm not yet sure how to get the most mileage out of it. But I think it could be fun and interesting.

I was also hesitant to go with England since I played England back in HOTW4 (and did a spectacular job posting I might add) and I'm not sure how much more material I have. But we'll see.

In HOTW5 we started with 10 civs. But one player, the Mongols, never showed up, so they were AI the entire game and soon became a runt civ. 2/3rds of the way through, CS' friend dropped out and was swallowed up by his neighbors.

Of course we still have 2-3 weeks to work on this and find the best solution, so lets be careful on this so we can find the best outcome.

I recommend we move the start time later to accommodate Frank (then I can get the Inca... ).

Seriously though, I really, really want to see two concurrent games start up. If Frank, Capo & Raz are all able to find a time that works for them, they might have enough of a core group to start a second game. Lets say we get 2-3 people from HOTW8 to play in a second game and get another 2-3 new people, and we're set.

Only two diplogames with Ozzy and I already know him very very very very well

Frank, you should really really really find another job! I really want to play with you! You're one of the few stable diploplayers I know (together with Ozz, Deity, Nolan and Kuno, and of course Toni, eventhough I saw him 'once' in action, I'm sure we have a winner with him! )

Still no reaction from The Capo
I assume we must concider him out.

Maybe we can get some people from Franky in the game. We should even invent someone from Firaxis. I'm going to do that right now.

7-9 is a good number for a diplogame.

We got 8 so we are good to go then. 8 reliable people is much better then 10 with two unreliable, hope u find someone we can count on CS. As i said earlier we got 2-3 weeks to go still, so no hurry!

I will try to convince Mike into joining us next game. ozzy what about Moker u think he can devolt fully this time to the game?
