For messaging, I use the freeware Miranda IM client ... you can sign up for ICQ, AIM, MSN, YIM, etc, and just plug the log-ins into miranda and use them all at once.Comment

I was only able to hold you off and then come back at you because of a timely GM and Feud. Without those two, you probably would have had me, so nicely played. I hope you had as much fun as it sounded like at the end

Yes, I hope he didn't take it personally. We would have been having that discussion even if he hadn't been interested in playing. I am somewhat surprised that it was a deal breaker for him. I was looking forward to having another player of his supposed skill level in the game. Playing better people is always a good learning experience, even if learned at the end of rifle.
And I still think I could have held you off at the end there, even though I was pretty plastered by then.

In fact, it may be time to start a RAH rules thread.
I didn't think we needed it, but restarts and the latest rule we tried (which I think will be quite successful in eliminating most of the complaining) Hopefully it won't have to be as long as it was for II.

Yeah, your power level was above mine so if we'd had a proper war (Rather than, "I'll just throw everything at Washington and see what happens") then it would have been pretty tight, though Makahlua seemed happy to help me so who knows. I'm glad to take being on top for most of the game as it was
I'll also just lol a bit at all the early wonders I managed to steal... Stonehenge, Oracle, Pyramids... luvverly stuff
