Here's an idea on how to make free elections to the UN work.

We vote, via chat, for the secretary general, for each time there is an election. Using the game mechanics, we vote someone permanently as the 'secretary general' (I am sure that Ryk would be up to the task). Then, whoever is actually elected will relay to the 'IG secretary general' decisions as to which resolutions to put forth when they are needed. Everything else will be as per normal.

What do you think?

Would using the mod this late in the game actually work?

I doubt it.

I think so. You just have to replace your normal game files (and back them up) with the mod.
But I suddenly realise that that mod was created for vanilla, not for warlords.

I'll have to remake it, not sure if I remember how I did it......

I saw a mod on fanatics that allowed all civics to be voted for as UN resolutions. That might be interesting as well. I searched for cool UN mods, but apparantly there aren't many (none at all) modders busy making the UN more interesting

I kinda like Kuno's idea. It simple to implement (assuming Ryk wouldnt mind) and it accomplishes the goal of making everybody eligible for SG. Im for it!

Interesting but I'm not too keen on changing things at this stage. Just use the game mechanics.
