I second Toni's question. Are we playing this week? If not, I can leave early to win some big money northern Wisconsin style....yep, fishing tournament!
On a side note, I may have a problem if we are playing on March 2nd. I will be in the (hopefully) sunny San Francisco/Bay Area that week and flying back Friday. If the airlines dont hose me, Ill be home in time for the game. But they usually hose me. I sure hope that isnt going to be our HOTW8 startNon Serviam

I think that it would be best to start HOTW8 with as much as possible players and as little as possible AI's.
Delaying 1 or 2 weeks for a game to start should be very possible if that means we have a 100% human-startFormerly known as "CyberShy"

Well we have another thread to discuss HOTW8 in. Lets figure out whether we are playing on Friday or not.
I'd hate for Kuno & CS to miss the last session after all this time. But if Kuno is gonna be out for the next two weeks... I guess we can't wait for him. But if we don't wait for him, is it fair to wait for CS?

If the next session has a good chance of being the last, Id vote to waiting for Kuno and CS, even if that means 2 weeks. They both have been in it from the beginning, more than I can say, and I think they deserve to see it end. I can certainly wait, life is a marathon, not a sprintNon Serviam

OK, I've decided to organse an overdue family function in this weeks HOTW7 slot (16th Feb). So that seals it for this week I hope.
I think we should play in the following week (23rd Feb) though and line up a briefed sub for Kuno. We have plenty of time.
Hopefully that'll be the last session and we start HOTW8 the week after (2nd March)."Old age and skill will overcome youth and treachery. "

Mike can't start HOTW8 on March 2nd.
Let's wait one week for him and officially put the start date for HOTW8 on March 9th.
If we set that date in stone we can start preparing for that date from now on.

I missed the first session of HOTW5 and still had a great game."Old age and skill will overcome youth and treachery. "

I doubt if we lose the momentum by waiting one more week.
We're all very dedicated.

Actually, don't the Spartans all get killed?
Ok, so what are we doing here?
This Friday Kuno is out. Next Friday Mike is out. The Friday after that Toni is out... Is anyone out on March 16?
Sometime in there we need to finish HOTW7 and start HOTW8. Since Kuno was with us from the beginning of HOTW7 I'd really rather he didn't miss the last session. So.... I think our best options are:
We don't play this Friday, and finish HOTW7 on March 2 (without Mike), and start HOTW8 on March 9 (without Toni).
We start HOTW8 this Friday (without Kuno), and finish HOTW7 on March 2 (without Mike).Captain of Team Apolyton - ISDG 2012
