Nice to see that Ozzy was even yelling at his allie Spain during the 2nd Boston conflict.

If I read the above chatlogs it's clear that America and Germany had done perfect behind the schemes diplomacy. Russia became neutral and Spain didn't backup India anymore in it's struggle for Boston so effectivly we had isolated India. I can see how India doesn't like that at all but I think we did a pretty good job.

Well not necessarily blame them in the sense that it was their idea, I knew it was your idea. But there was an obvious change in the powergraph to show that they gave lots of troops to assist in the war. So whether their troops were outside Boston or not, they made the attack possible.

And furthermore, I think at that time Germany had the biggest army. So it was less about assigning responsibility than it was about maintaining a balance of power, and cutting down German power.

So yea, my objectives for my grand strategy were multi-faceted:

      1. Reduce German power
      2. Gain territory for India
      3. Give more territory to America/France to keep them competitive and interested in the game, and ensure balance of power.
      4. Plant suspicion & division between the southern powers so hopefully they won't team up to invade India again.
      5. Give America enough territory to placate them in the future, so you won't again try to invade India.

But yea it was all screwed up because of y'all whining and moaning that the game was rigged or some such nonsense. That really pissed me off. Not only wasn't it at all true, but I was actually trying to help America & France out.

I hope also that some of these conversations shed light on the accusation that Russia-India-Spain was a unified block that had no care about game balance, and would never be split apart. There were some seriously tense moments there for me. But I couldn't share those secret conversations in the midst of the war to shut up your whining, so I was just stuck.

Also I hope you notice many times through these posted logs I had an eye for balance of power and wanted to limit our alliances and handicap ourselves. But you guys had to make a big stink out of it anyways... *sigh*

It's good to see that you mattered about game ballance!
But I didn't knew anything about that. All I saw were Indian troops that invaded America with help from Spain, China and Russia. And that surprised me because I didn't saw any in-game reason for Russia to suddenly switch from neutral to pro-India again. That was our problem.

If you would've shared your plans with me I might have given in

And here's the granddaddy of all HOTW5 plans!!
The plan for the invasion of India and Russia by the Star-Alliance

The numbers next to the lines are the steps (first step1, then step 2, etc.) the colors of the lines are the armies of the involved nations and the direction they march to (included the expected troop movements of our enemies)

With a plan as jumbled and confusing as that, no wonder you guys lost.

Whereas my plan to build up an attack force just out of sight of Boston using the jungle for cover, then sending an ax out into your territory to tie up reinforcements while I sneak the troops to Boston and steal it out from under you.... THAT was a perfect plan that wasn't spoiled by anything.

                  Yeah, your plan was perfect.
Well done! Won't happen again though!
I remember running with 5 axemen after your 2 axemen wondering what your point was by moving them around and around since I was defending the strategic spots anyway.

And then your forces knocked no the gates of Boston while my axemen were far away, defending worthless territory against 2 silly axemen

Well done! I salute you great general!
