RAH's Saturday games

I have found that there is not a huge difference in performance once the game is started between having four to eight players, assuming that everyone has a decent connection to the net. The challenge is getting everyone into the game initially with all the peer connection problems that we have seen.

I am interested in this game tomorrow also, can someone please post a start time? I am experienced, but I have definitely run accross some tough competition in some of the random Gamespy games I have played (i.e. I only win about 75% of those ).

Well if you guys were joining I would have no problem waiting later to start. Remember though, our games only go 1 session, thus the reason I was hoping for an extremely long one.

Under 6 players usually seems to run smoothly, especially within a known group where connection issues have been ironed out - major issue being hardware firewalls and routers. My personal view is that you don't need to turn off your software firewall as long as it's FULLY configured.

Up to 10 players can run well but as you say it increases the odds of failure and that happens a lot for various reasons

Geeze game spy was quite the zoo. A lot of short attention spanned rude people. I can see why some avoid it.
