  • Ahh. Our plans are progressing nicely. It is gut that we have such a skilled ruler as Azimov. Slightly mad, but useful for his purpose. Germany will finally live up to its birthright.

    • World leaders,

Please make it clear to me:
Did Germany just declare war on Russia?
What is the position of China?
What is the position of England?
What is the position of India?
What is the position of Spain?
When will Russia react to the accussion against Russia?

      And more important for America,
will China, Russia and Germany, and all other nations who want or might be pulled into this war, respect America's neutral position?

World Leaders, I hope you did not forget that you are supposed to serve your people. Don't make decisions that will make your people suffer. Be wise and handle correctly. May you be remembered with honor in the future. Restrain yourself and show the world that you are a man or a woman of honor.

      • The Russian Soviet Socialist Republic

        An Open Letter to Terra

The claims of the Chinese capitalists are clearly a thinly disguised ploy to crush the Russian proletariat. The world need only look at the obscene military buildup to recognize that their true aim is nothing less than the domination and subjeculation of Russia. The fact that the Fascists of Germany, who are a blight upon history worse than the capitalists, have linked hands with the Chinese capitalists as well as the English imperialists, is proof that there is a conspiracy to delay the inevitable march forward to a worker's paradise.

Nevertheless, to show that we have nothing to hide, the RSSR agrees to abide by the resolutions that the United Nations propose, and further agrees to the proposal of our American brethen to try the traitorous Romanovs in Robinthon. We would have greatly preferred that these traitors be tried in Russia, by Russia, but in the interest of world peace, we shall make this concession.

Once again, we reiterate that the acts against the capitalists in China are in no way linked to the RSSR; let it be known that should that prove to indeed be the case, that the culprits will be summarily executed like the dogs they are.

        • To Terra

My colleagues and I appreciate the actions that Germany, China and Spain, among others, have taken against the communists in Russia, and the support that they have shown to us. However, there is one this that I must make clear. That is, that I do not intend to restore the Romanov dynasty in Russia. Rather, let there be rule by the Russian people, for the good of Russia, in the name of Russia. For this reason, I must respecfully decline the help that Germany offers; for I am not a Grand Duchess, but a Russian fighting for freedom in her homeland.

Furthermore, we grow increasingly alarmed at all this talk of war. I, for one, have no wish to see my homeland drown in a sea of fire, despite the inhumanity of the people who now rule her. Russia should not suffer for the faults of her rulers. I agree, though, that some kind of break must be put in place upon the RSSR; therefore, I support economic sanctions on the RSSR. In addition to that, I will agree to stand trial in America or any other neutral ground, to face any and all accusations of crimes againt my homeland. If this is the way to avoid war, then this is the way that I will take.

I implore the world, and especially our gracious Chinese hosts, to think twice before plunging into a bloody war. No one can possibly benefit from this bloodbath.

From: Abraham Lincoln, Prime Minister of America

Now Joseph Stalin has agreed have the trial against Anastasia Romanov to take place in Robingthon and Romanov has agreed to come to America, I suppose the following:

I suggest that we create a surpreme court that will consist of 5 judges. I propose:
            1. One judge from America who'll the president of the tribunal
            2. One judge from the United Nations as a representant of all nations of Terra
            3. One judge from China who give asyle to Romanov
            4. One judge from Russia who has a claim against Romanov
            5. A 3rd neutral judge from any other nation.

I hereby propose to let John Jay be the American judge. Let China, Russia and the United Nations appoint one judge as well. I suggest that the other nations propose which judge will be the 5th judge.

Let this process start as soon as possible and let bureaucraty or any other forms of delay not frustrate this process. I call upon all nations to agree to this as soon as possible.

            • While China appreciates the American offer, the time for trials against leaders is past. The world has much more pressing issues to address than the supposed crimes of deposed leaders. By her own words the heir to the former Monarchy of Russia has declined to seek a return to power.

Whatever misdeeds the Russian Royals may have commited over the centuries pail in comparsion to the crimes commited by the communist overlords of Russia in mere decades. Futhermore, they have begun to export their acts of terrorism and direct them against other peoples. Listen and you will hear the calls from the just nations of Terra, calling for the real trial to be held against the terrorists remaining in Russia.

America should spend her efforts not on these petty issues of the past, but instead on what faces the world currently, the rouge Russian terrorist state.

              • The Republic of Spain

                TO: Abraham Lincoln
FROM: Francisco Serrano y Dominguez, Foreign Minister of Spain

It has come to our attention that Anastasia Romananov Diaz de Castilla y Aragon is currently being held by Chinese authorities who intend on sending her to America to stand trial. Spain must object to these ridiculous proceedings.

Firstly; Anastasia was merely a young child, and cousin to the Spanish imperial family when the supposed crimes of the Romanovs were claimed by the Marxist insurgents in Russia.

Secondly; Despite her lack of age she had no actual involvement in any of the decisions of the imperial family, to try a woman for crimes she didn't even comitt as a CHILD is ludicrous, and is a disgusting misuse of the law.

Thirdly; The nations you have assembled in your little court are a joke. What does the United Nations have to do with this? When did the Romanovs do anything to the international community? We have seen our "charges" against our own imperial family for what they are; false political accusations. We have come to terms with this recently and have thankfully recovered our lost imperial family in the form of Juan Carlos Guzman Olivares Diaz de Castilla y Aragon, the unofficial Prince of Spain. There is currently a debate in our Parliament about his reinstallment as a ceremonial monarch, but again this has nothing to do with the issue at hand. We DEMAND that Anastasia be turned over to SPANISH authorities, and returned to her rightful place alongside her cousin Juan Carlos.

Our interest is only in justice and the rule of law. As civilized states we must not allow this political circus to continue any longer. She is being tried for absolutely no crimes, if you refuse our demands Spain will be sending an ADVOCATE to defend Anastasia.

Thank you, you should all be ashamed of yourselves.

                • Concerning Anastasia, we have no intention of using force on her person to have her stand trial. That said, she does perform important administrative and ceremonial duties for the Free Russians, of which there are many within China. Should Anastasia wish to visit or reside with her family in Spain she is completely free to do so, however we would request also that the importance of her work be reconized and allowed until the peoples of Russia are free to rule themselves.

                  • I agree that the status of a deposed former monarch of Russia is of little to no importance in today's world when much more pressing issues such as the industrial sabatoge in China and the threats of war from China, Germany & England. India's ambassador shall attend the Security Council meeting to discuss ways in which we can avoid a deadly world war in this matter and see that justice is done.

If a trial of Anastasia is still desired by some, it is of little concern to India, but please let the world worry about it at a later date, as we have more pressing issues to concern ourselves with.

                    • The Calm Before the Storm

Following the UN Press Conference regarding the situation between Russia and China it was quite evident what certain nations had in mind for the near-future; there was talk of trying Anastasia of Russia for some unknown crimes, the new Resource Defense agreement was on the table and seemed to be gaining momentum, and the English had broken their long silence on the matters at hand. Generally speaking, nothing really changed. What did change, however, was the Falange's rise to power in Spain. After the death/murder of General Miguel Primo de Rivera, General Francisco Franco took command of the Rightist political party and worked quickly to get the votes of both traditionalists, extreme Catholics, and of course Socialist-Rightists. He had even begun speaking with Prince Juan Carlos (shown in the picture speaking to Franco) about the possibility of a Constitutional Monarchy. Meanwhile the Liberal Party met in Barcelona to discuss their strategy...

                      Barcelona...

The Liberal Party of Spain was losing ground quickly. Many Spaniards agreed with the Chinese position that the United Nations was not doing their job (a belief that seemed more a matter of politics than reality), and this really hurt the Liberals who whole-heartedly supported the United Nations and its mandate. The Falange was able to use a period of mounting tension to their advantage by offering Spain a strong, militaristic party that gave assurance to many citizens that even if a world war were to break out, everything would be alright. Somehow the Prime Minister and his allies had to do something about it.

"No way, that would never work!" Jose Diaz said, shaking his head, he had recently gone from Secretary of the Interior to number two man in the Liberal party "We are in an economic slump, claiming to cut taxes is not the way to win this thing. We've got to carry Toledo, that is their strong-hold."

"We've got to do something, we can't just maintain a position of justice and morality, they have parades with banners and bands, I mean how can we compete with that?" said Adolfo Suarez-Gonzalez, he was a relatively new member of the Liberal party.

"I think we'll do well in Madrid, despite their parade," Prime Minister Prim y Prats maintained "I don't know, it just seems we're allowing international incidents to color our political scene, and that bodes well for the Falange."

"Well, I think we've made a good start so far by offering a lawyer for Anastasia. It seems that Spain is in love with royals, perhaps we should install Juan Carlos?" Francisco Serrano y Dominguez said, he is the Foreign Minister. "I mean part of the Falange's platform is a return to tradition, this may get some key votes for us."

The Prime Minister rose from his seat and approached the window, it was raining outside, and it couldn't have been a worse day for this meeting "Maybe we're just not what Spain wants anymore." he said, looking down at his feet "Maybe this is just destiny, we can't use their ideas. We can't appoint a King, we can't take factories from their owners, we can't kill Marxists and stop the presses from printing the news. I don't know why this is happening, I don't know why Spain wants this, but-"

"Juan, stop it!" said Francisco Serrano y Dominguez, he was an old man by now "Get a hold of yourself, YOU led the charge against the Carlists, against Emperor Carlos and Fernando, you are a great General and a testament to Spain. This Franco, he's nothing but a joke! He parades around in his little uniform, with his little soldiers and acts the part, you lived it. Tell that to the Spanish people, that is all they want Juan, a strong leader in a time of tension, be that leader!"

Ft. Mendoza, Near the Russian Border...

Rigoberto had been stationed in Ft. Mendoza for the past five years, and not a damn thing had happened. He was a staunch supporter of the Liberal government, but recently had found it harder and harder to support them as many of his comrades in the military had taken to the Falange. He held his ground though, and was a great soldier, he always followed orders to the letter and never snuck in any alcohol or snuck out looking for women, well unless it was during his monthly leave. Many of the other soldiers had taken to harrasing him for his upright ways, but recently many turned to him for advice and guideance as they feared a looming world war. Rigo approached a few other Marines who were hanging out along a guard-post.

"How's it going guys?" Rigo asked, putting on his helmet.

"Eh" Antonio said looking into the distance "A few Ruskies came, but we shot em all, other than that nothing!" he said with a chuckle.

"Shut up" Rigo said shaking his head "So nothing I guess."

"Does ANYTHING ever happen here?" Pablo replied "I've been here for three years and the only fighting I've seen is between us guys, we never get to do anything, not like the guys in San Pedro, did you know they got to demolish Bremen? Explosions and everything, man that must've been exciting."

"Yeah, my brother was there, he said there were a few of them krauts trying to maintain their homes or whatever, you know" Antonio said as he got up and began to imitate a German "No no, its my home its my home, don't shoot me, ha ha, f*cking dumb krauts"

[All of the soldiers grabbed their crotches and spit on the floor in unison]

"Yeah, f*ck em." said Rigo, to the amazement of the other soldiers.

"Wow look at that, Rodrigo said a bad word!" Pablo said mockingly, just then Captain Revez approached.

"What are you morons up to over here?" he asked.

"Nothing, just sh*tting around, why what's going on Cap'n?" Antonio asked.

"C'mon guys, you've been relieved of your duties here for the day, we've gotta get to Toledo, we're going to Versailles." the Captain said.

"What the hell for?" Pablo asked as he stood up and stretched.

"Good to see you guys are ever vigilant" the Captain said in response to Pablo stretching "We've gotta help with security at Miguel Primo de Rivera's funeral, and also the General thinks everyone should vote because he thinks it is an important election."

"Yeah right, the General just wants that p*ssy Prim y Prats back in office, its not-"

"Hey, Marquez, you shut the hell up. Do not speak about our Prime Minister like that!" the Captain barked.

                      Toledo, the next day...

Miguel Primo de Rivera was honored in a grand ceremony at Versailles in Toledo, Franco delivered the opening speeches as the Archbishop finished up the event with a eulogy about humility and sacrafice for one's country. All in all it turned out to be propoganda for the Falange, who called for the death of "Primo's Marxist Assassins." Ironically enough Miguel Primo de Rivera's assassin was actually one of the pall bearers, at the insistance of Franco who believed this would abslove him from suspicion, but it didn't matter; because the Falange was prepared to take over the government and knew that after that there would be no problems. The elections were to occur the very next day, and if the Falange gained enough seats they could call for a vote of no confidence and replace Prim y Prats with Franco...

The Temple of Soloman is and has always been a sacred American institution placed in their oldest and most sacred city - Washington. German troops crossing the American border in an aggressive mission to conquer Washington will be met with Indian troops.

There is no reason and no excuse for such hostile threats of war.

America has tried to stop all hostilities and bring the nations back to the negotiation table. America has tried to bring justice. This can only be done step by step. Today the Romanovs, then we can move on to other issues. Apparantly the nations of Terra do not seek peace or solutions. Despite the Russia no other nation on Terra apparantly wishes for the American neutral help, therefor America pulls back all international attempts to make peace and fall back to a more isolated position. Having said that I must say that Russia earned some respect by willing to participate on the Romanov issue.

America has given all oil supplies for a limited time to Germany. We have canceled this deal just only because our own needs for oil. This has been communicated and the German reaction was understanding. Did Germany change opinion? Why not thank America for giving all it's oil for such a long time?

America does respect the Temple of Solomon. America may grant access to German armies on it's territory only if Germany can give good reasons for German troops marching through American territory. If Germany attempts to cross the German-American borders against our will the borders will be closed.

Lastly I must say that I'm shocked by your aggressive tone. What is it that you want, Azimov. Is war what you want? Do you respect America's neutral position? We used to be friends, America and Germany. We used to be friends.
