I think that the prussia posts are great and should be kept, he can use them to justify an attack on russia.

The fact that russia didnt do the attack is regardless, he is allowed to make up a daughter and a kidnap attempt, the truth behind the attack is that it was done by Incan CIA members. they did this under government instruction to justify a war.

The Begining of the Dissent...

Leopoldo Calvo Sotelo was the member of Parliament from San Pedro, one of the few remaining Liberal centers of power in Spain. However, he was by no means a liberal; he had served with Franco as, initially, his cheif of staff and then was appointed to his position directly by the dictator himself. Despite this Leopoldo was generally a man of his own ilk, and he understood some of Franco's policies were either mired in nationalist biased or directly against Spain's better interests. Armed with UN Secretary General Brian Thatcher's draft proposal for a solution to the Sino-Soviet tension, he walked calmly into Franco's office...

"El Caudillo, have you seen Secretary Thatcher's draft proposal?" he said, sitting down in a chair and placing the proposal on the dictator's desk.

"Leo, I've got a lot on my plate right now, this better not be a waste of time." the dictator said, picking up the document.

"Well, you know I wouldn't bother you with such things, but this is a matter of grave importance, the first point of-" Franco held his hand up indicating that Leopoldo stop speaking.

"This is insanity!" the dictator said, slamming the paper onto his desk "How can they make such a proposal, we can't agree to this!"

"Sir, I understand, the English don't quite seem to realize we are allied to China." he said, adjusting his necktie nervously "Perhaps we should send a missive to Maggie Thatcher, outlining our-" again, the dictator interrupted him.

"This appeasement is disgusting, I can't stand for it!" Franco yelled, "First that bastard Gandhi accuses us of murder, then he gives Russia a veritable slap on the wrist, now we've got this idiot Thatcher mucking up our operations. I can't take this lightly." the dictator pushed a button on his intercom "Marisol, Marisol!"

"[Yes Prime Minister Franco]" the voice on the intercom said.

"I want you to summon Foreign Minister Sanz-Briz, tell him it is of dire importance."

"[yes of course sir]" she replied.

"Leopoldo" Franco said, as he composed himself "You will go to Parliament with this as soon as possible, we will have a vote against this proposal. Spain can not be made to ignore their treaty obligations due to the UN, especially not in this manner. This entire draft is ludicrous!"

"May I speak frankly Prime Minister?" Leopoldo asked nervously.

"Ugh," Franco said, waving his hand.

"I believe the majority of the draft is in good form, honestly a lot of it deals with Russian spying, which is huge from England because they hate us. We shouldn't decline this proposal outright, it is only the first point that I think is errant." the dictator looked at him dead in his eye, and didn't say a word "Prime Minister...?"

"Do what I've told you Leopoldo, get out of my sight..."

Toledo, Spain...

"How about this one?" Corporal Ruiz said, it was a simple systems check on Spain's artillery.

"It looks good sir," private De La Rosa replied, he had been doing this for three hours already and every single weapon was fine "The fact is sir, all of these machines are top of the line, and none of them have been used yet, they should all be tip top."

"That isn't the point private" the Corporal replied, he was clearly annoyed "Do you want one of these things locking up on you in the field? There's nothing wrong with being prepared."

"Alright, alright." the private said, "See, its fine."

The Corporal checked his paperwork "Alright, well I think that should be the last of them, we'd better get back to the General, he wants this report as soon as possible."

The private pulled off his hat and whiped his forehead "Jesus, its f*ckin hot out here."

"Yeah," Corporal Ruiz said, "Here, why don't you take this to the General, it will help you out a bit, he likes to see the privates taking some initiative." he handed the paperwork to De La Rosa.

"Thank you Corporal" he said, as he saluted.

"Hurry, its almost late." the Corporal said as the soldier nodded and ran away, the Corporal looked around nervously and walked into a latrine, he let out a deep sigh and pulled down his pants and sat down, he then pulled out a peice of paper...

While we appreciate your bravery, we have to say that little to nothing has been done on your side. Meanwhile we run with fear not only from Franco's secret police, but also the Soviet government. They secretly sneak into China and bomb their factories, their mines, and now they bomb their towns. If Secretary Thatcher seriously believes that we will stand by while the Chinese are assaulted, ignoring our sworn word, he is sorely mistaken. Spain will NOT support this proposal, we are bound by our word and honor to defend our allies and we condemn any attempt by outside forces to stop this from occuring.

Further, we find it disheartening that a fellow member of the RDP would suggest, or even support, a proposal that ignores its treaty obligations. I'm surprised you happened upon this information that was contained in a secret report to my Prime Minister. May I ask how you came by it?

My PM will not respond directly to it of course.

However it is true and as the UN Sec Gen I must strive to arrive at a consensus that is biased towards peace and is inclusive of all nations and is balanced.

Do you not agree?

Note that England is not formally allied to China but joined the RSP - there is a difference.

But I emphasise again that I represent the UN and not England.

I fully concur with the facts as presented by China and yourself and the spies of Russia have committed vile acts. England herself has been a victim too.

May I suggest that your approach of blindly supporting your ally, particularly if military in nature, may lead to a full world war?

If you think carefully about my draft proposal you will see that it includes full support for China to punish Russia in a controlled and calculated way with world support. I'm sure they are more than capable of doing this by their own means. BUT the proposal sets limits on what China can do.

Do you not think that this approach will protect resource security better than a world war?

However, your response causes me to think of an additional item for the proposal:

"If China loses ground in her bid to take one Russian city per future act of sabotage China's allies may offer military support by way of gifted units to ensure the objective is achieved."

Would this satisfy Spain?

If so I will amend my draft proposal, along with any changes proposed by Margaret and then present it to the UN.

In addition we may consider a clause that requests all nations cancel all resource and borders arrangements with Russia, however this will hurt both sides.

Explosion in the iron mines of Robingthon

The proud of Robingthon, the iron mines near the capital of America, has been destroyed. Spies from an unknown foreign nation have been sneaked into the mine and left several bombs, eye witnesses reported.

The mine is one of the three huge iron mines of America. The biggest one. An important supplier for the prodiction of Robingthon.

Al Gore, the only surviving miner, gave a report of what happened: "We were just getting to the surface of the mine for our break when something was trown into the mine from the entrance. It rolled passed me into the dept. I was walking at the front of my 5 co-workers. Then behind me I heard an explosion and I was trowed against the floor. I don't remember anything from there on. I hate it that the mine has been destroyed. All my coleagues are death. If I wouldn't have walked that fast because I had to pee, then I would've been death as well. What should I do now? Mining is my life. I have invented mining, you should know!"

Brian Thathcher stood before the great assembly in [ Delhi ]. This was his big moment and fundamentally more important than the Manhatten Project.

Representatives from all nations of Terra seemed to be present.

He presented his proposal.

"Welcome everyone.

We stand on the precipice of a world war. Potentially entire nations could be destroyed.

I've sought advise and thought long and hard about the current scenario. China is fully entitled to go to war over the spy attacks that have almost certainly been orchestrated at a national governmental level, despite claims to the contrary.

The trick here is to support China and achieve a measure of control over the situation. If China listens to us she will be well rewarded. If Russia listens to us she will be well rewarded. If they don't I believe in the end we will have no winners.

What you have before you is a proposal I have circulated. It sounds harsh and blunt, even lacking diplomatic finesse but it cuts through the issue and strikes a balance that may be appealing to all nations of Terra."

First, congratulations Secretary General Thatcher on your election to your current post. I am glad for your work to again legalize research into nuclear technology, an avenue of research that was untimely banned by your predecessor.

My government has looked over your proposal to end the Sino-Soviet conflict and has found it acceptable. God willing it will never need to be activiated, as hopefully the acts of sabatoge have finally stopped. India has long been a supporter of the United Nations and of it's mission to solve conflicts such as this before they develop into terrible, deadly world wars. I applaud you for putting forward a strong but fair proposal. I applaud you also for not only condemning the Russian industrial sabatoge, but also for recognizing the Chinese threat of war is a bigger threat to world peace.

India heartily signs its support for this treaty.

I do wonder however whether this treaty will apply to other nation's acts of sabatoge? Surely you have heard of an act of sabatoge on an iron mine of our American ally. While there seems to be little proof at the moment, the Americans suspect the Germans who have made threatening and provokitive statements towards the Americans lately. The new government in Germany seems to be joining Spain & China in beating the drums of war. Does the UN have a response to the acts of sabatoge on American soil?

The Russian Soviet Socialist Republic

The RSSR protests the motion by the Secretary General of the UN for two reasons. Firstly, nowhere is there a provision for an unprovoked attack upon the RSSR by the capitalist Chinese. Is the RSSR to stand alone against the demonic war machine of Capitalist China, when that happens? Secondly, nowhere is there any reference to the crimes wrought in the name of the Romanovs, and the trial that is to follow. These are grave omissions that need to be addressed immeadiatedly.

In the interest of fairness, the RSSR will refrain from proposing the necessary amendments to the motion; instead, the RSSR will allow the delegates of the UN to make such proposals, and comment on them where necessary.
