I'm sorry, on friday I can play on 00:00 my time. On normal weekdays that's a little bit too late. That's why I proposed to test earlier on. I was here, but I figured that no-one would be around since nobody responded to that time.

Besides that: burn deity, the heretic! He prefers to spend quality time with his family above playing our diplogame

Could you guys connect last time? Is it a good thing that you can connect now? Or does it mean nothing?

could somebody explain to me the space-time coordinates for this diplogame, i.e. where and when it will unfold itself...i was online last nite after 9 pm (UTC-3) but couldn't find anybody.

start: 23:00 GMT / UTC
end: 02:00 GMT / UTC

So, in about 11 hours from posting this message the (3rd attempt to the) first session will start.

Assuming from your flag that you are in Chile that would be -4 hours from 23:00. in other words. 19:00 chilean time. if in doubt go here

I apologize for being a little absent the last week. I've had my mind occupied by lots of other stuff (including small green men in with funny hats...)

Catching up, I have the following declaration to add @ TheCapos drunken post. I do have better things to do. or if I may specify; better things to do than sit around and NOT play the game. If we were actually playing the game I believe, like yourself that it will be fantastic. frustrations are natural when something like this doesnt work like we want it to and I am used to voicing my frustrations as a way of letting out steam. Thats all for that note. no harm really, no foul I hope.

The big question is of course. are we trying again tonight without deity? It is unfortunate that deity cannot join us if we do start, and since the patch MAY be just around the corner (the longer we wait the closer it is ) perhaps we should postpone another week. *sigh*

what we could do is to start the game and make sure it works. if it does work then we would know for sure that its good to go and get ready for next friday. If it does work we could even start a game, look at our starting positions, save it and pick up again next friday without ending turn. that way we could get a taste of whats to come, plan ahead a little and maybe even write a paragraph about our respective tribes' background based on their starting locations.

what opinions do you guys have?

@LzPrst: Just in case you give a damn Actually, Chile is UTC-3 right now because we are on daylight savings time (we go up 1 hour), but officially you're right, chile is in the UTC-4 timezone. We'll do the timetravel back the second weekend of march.

My problem is my parents are visiting tonight so I may not be able to make it. If I can (i can rent them a movie and play, they wont care I hope )I'll be online before 23:00 GMT. If I can't I may be able to be there for a while to test my connection in case it's postponed for next friday. If I'm not there don't wait for me and it'll be next time.

all sounds good. I am afraid I have some slightly bad news however. the omnipotent trout is having some issues with his connection. He's trying to work it out but things seem to be somewhat messy. apparently he doesnt have SP2 and for some strange reason his IE isnt working properly so he cant get it (since microsoft dont want anyone who run anything else than IE to download the damn thing).

Anyway. I'm gonna work with him as best as I can to get things working in time, unfortunately, I have no guarantees it will work. I however will be all present and ready.

his home address is right over the road from my home address. unfortunately he is studying in the southern part of norway and I'm studying in the western part. only a short 10 hour trip with bus/train.

I'm gonna try to get it to him by some other means...
