hey that sounds like u guys had alot of fun, interesting tactics too, im keen for the next game as this **** is really starting to spice up , hope im stil welcome and i will opoligise from my non attendance on saturday as i work at 4 am on saturday and i didnt get much sleep i crashed out at like 5pm lol and woke up next morning so sorry about that but i am keen to play some more....

Its easy to get too many games going but it gets difficult trying to remember which is what. May I suggest you keep a big game going for Saturday nights. Then a week day game over 2 days midweek. What do you think? Try and keep it for 2 set days so everyone is aware what days.

Civilization is a risky game.

Your ealy rush tactics are easy to counter, simply leave your starting warrior around your first city, i do normaly keep it close by and if you resort to those tactics then it will remain close. Also you have tried that tactic twice on me now and failed both times.

This tactic will only give you advantage on smaller maps were everyone is close by, on larger maps this strategy will fail most times due to distance.

Well its not really a tactic at all..twice I have stumbled onto to someone unexpectedly and undefended whiling exploring the map. My starts are no different to anyone elses start but I bet from now on your warrior doesnt wonder too far from your capital at the start. I dont see whats to be gained by knocking guys out early unless your both start on some god forsaken island only moses would be happy in!!

Hmmm sounds like alot of fun lol, early take out lol that is a really interesting option personaly i would take an undefended city, simply because if your stupid enough to leave it undefended even early then its a free city

I am not sure what is happening with our games who is playing who is not playing which nights etc etc. How about running a new thread trying to get a good regular game going with minimum 6 players to be played twice a week?

We already have a number of threads but people dont post in them. This one gets most of the attention. There are alot of aussie players but once again they dont post here much.

First we have to figure out which are the best nights, ive tried with numerous people, but often some cant play tuesday then other wednesday and so on. All i can do is email all the players i know and get them to post here on what days suit them best. Then we can go from there.

Tuesday I am generally always unavailable, most other days ok, but this weekend due to travelling, will not be available at all, except possibly Sunday evening depending when I arrive back home

Yes game is set for tonight, 8pm start. We have enough players now confirmed with day and times to start it up. At lest 6 platers probably 8.

also the patch is out, go to advanced options in menu and use auto update for it. We will be using this for tonights game.

Sounds good I'll be up for a game tonight. I should be right to play pretty much any nights except for wednesday. For the next few months at least.
