Well, I really dont want to end the game actually, want to keep it going. However im sure i could.

Yes I relize some of my actions could be considered a "waste" of worker turns. Hopefully they are a waste. Such as stacking workers, it's how i play and it works for me. Forts are never a waste, I've never seen an AI bypass a fort. Hopefully they never get attacked, a fort never used is a waste, but better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

Settling GP is the most productive use of them, maybe not in my 100 turns but throught the length of the game.

This is the point of the succesion game. To have your own plans laid, set to go into motion, then get dashed by the next leader who has his own agenda. It's entertaining to watch. See also "The Presidents of the United States",

And Toth can be harsh with me all he wants, I enjoy it...

    Finishing my turns starting now....

As mentioned in the 'game', great read so far. And the open discussion on tactics and gameplay is appreciated.

To explain a few tile changes, yes farming over those villages pained me to do it, but that city had ZERO growth, and i wasnt going to chop any forests thus ruining a good national park city.

It takes 1 turn for 6 workers to move into a jungle, not 2, and 1 turn to road once there. See no waste there. I do however see the waste of having 3 workers idle for a turn after after a cottage or mine completes. It's a waste i accept for playability. I refuse to be a min/maxer and individually control 45+ workers. 4 or 5 stacks of 6 and the playability increase is huge.

Eventually the workers have moved into france, it's not complete yet, but getting there. Id rather have a few small jungled towns than leave the core cities stagnant. by the end of my sesion the core cities had reached size 19 and those tiles in wich u complained were being worked.

The forts are now more important than ever as the only possible war will be with Hanibal. I've seen 2 or 3 longbows devastate invading stacks with zero losses useing forts. And behind those forts is our capital. Would u prefer the war to be on our most important tiles?

so yeh I cheated, 50 more turns and the land is developed and factories are complete or beeing built. making the push to biology so cities can grow grow grow.... at 80% science running a profit in cash and 2000 beakers per turn.

          fixed!~ zero views.

I would kind of prefer none of us cheated to look at what's happening in parts of the map we can't see but I guess there is no way to stop it.

Should probably remove the link, Hauptman.

We could use a new player to go next round.

Rah has said he'll play a round if no one else wants to go. Any one else interested? We're coming into the home stretch here.

I've already played a shadow from the 1000 AD save and since my 116 turns included the discovery of Sci Method and Physics I'm ineligible due to knowing spoiler info. (That plus I've already taken this map to victory once, so my interest in playing out again is low.....the last 5-10 turns took for bloody ever.)

                    Take us to victory Rah!

I offered to take the next round in the other thread. Not taking me up on it?

I'll concede to let Dale do it. I'm still catching up from my vacation.

Dale, yay! Good to see you! I'm sure rah could handle the challenge, but Dale hasn't been around much.
