That obviously means that the odds that I may end up eating up the cardboard are pretty high, aren't they?

        • I am looking forward to bts actually, it seems as if it will not be lacking in content. I'm wondering how they are going implement Corporations and expanded UN. I've been leading the charge to expand the UN since the early days of modding. It never generated any real buzz though.

(by leading the charge I mean begging people to make a mod as I have to no skill that way)

Well, if the odds that I'll end up eating the cardboard are high, then I'm sure that you wanna take a bet on it

What do we do? I say $50 that I won't eat the cardboard, you say $50 that I will eat it, that's a fair deal since the odds are clearly on your side

            • That would only work if you actually followed the result of the vote, wouldn't it?

                • This is my very first post here, so I hope you don't mind if I offer my opinion. I don't think CyberShy should eat cardboard because he hasn't been proven wrong either. An opinion cannot be proven or disproven. I think those who say Civ III sucks are being overly dramatic. Two of my favorite concepts came from Civ III, those being borders and bombarding units. I do admit that Civ III is perhaps my least favorite version of Civilization and Civ IV is a huge improvement, but I enjoyed several games of Civ III, and that doesn't suck.

                    A wise and astute statement.

                    • Also a welcome.

But the reason I suggested Cybershy eat cardboard has nothing to do with his opinion on the subjective matter of Civ3's quality. I think you need to reread over the exchange.

                        • Welcome.

But tell me, you do understand we're joking, right? As for those concepts, AFAIR neither of those two were Civ3's invention.
