I would sign a petition to keep Poland out of Civilization, but not one for it.

Bkeela - I can see that you have plenty of argumentshttp://www.thepetitionsite.com/takeaction/224875277 - petition to add Poland as a playable civ in Sid Meier's Civilization

What about New ZealandI don't know why he saved my life. Maybe in those last moments he loved life more than he ever had before. Not just his life - anybody's life, my life. All he'd wanted were the same answers the rest of us want. Where did I come from? Where am I going? How long have I got? All I could do was sit there and watch him die.

Looking at the Wonders and some of the Great People, I can see Poland (Copernicus), Maya (Cao Cao), the Netherlands (a couple great scientists/artists I can't remember), Babylon/Sumer (Abraham) and the Khmers (Angkor Wat) coming. Usually all the GPs and Wonders have been civs that are already in the game or will be. Just take a look. Portuguese I haven't seen yet. I repeat yet. I may have missed a couple.
If that's the case, I see Alexander, Diadem, and Ideska dancing in the streets by next year. Of course, using my usual disclaimer, I could be wrong...

Oh boy, only not IdeskaMy name is Leszek Deska so my nick is LDeska, only I used lower case and it looks confusing.
I saw more Polish names in game:
Great Artist - Joseph Conrad (it was artistic nick, his real name was Teodor Józef Konrad Korzeniowski)
Great Scientist - Mikołaj Kopernik (in latin: Nicolaus Copernicus)
Great Scientist - Maria Skłodowska-Curie (in game as Marie Curie)http://www.thepetitionsite.com/takeaction/224875277 - petition to add Poland as a playable civ in Sid Meier's Civilization

Poland in Civ is like my own country (Austria): Appropriate for many European scenarios, but not quite for the main game. Certainly not in the top 30 rank (and 30 civs is probably what we'll have after XP2)."As far as general advice on mod-making: Go slow as far as adding new things to the game until you have the basic game all smoothed out ... Make sure the things you change are really imbalances and not just something that doesn't fit with your particular style of play." - WesW
