Celts and Scottish, eh? I don't think it's likely, as much as I like/am part Scottish.

I'd like to see Assyria too. Unfortunately CtP was the only franchise that included them -- and at the great cost of Babylon!

Ah, the pedigree. If we're justifying inclusion into the game on the basis of multiple previous inclusions, then our poll-list is filled with choices that don't quite measure up. My poor Scots would surely be neglected (as they will most certainly be anyways) and Babylon's appearance would be a done deal. Civ is all about history so it seems a good way to go, but is it the only good way to go? Scotland, for example, seems to me to have little hope of inclusion unless it was brought in to support a charming little scenario or two. Having a few of the smaller civs included might force a more 'important' civ to be 'snubbed'. So here's the question: Would it serve the game better to stick with just the big names or might it be a good idea to include a small smattering of 'lesser' states with the big names?

I'd also like to see more Biblical civs... that'd be pretty sweet, and I'll bet a Biblical expansion pack would sell pretty impressively for Firaxis.

So would I. Maybe with some enhancements for the game's religions.

I think the Philistines would be cool, but it wouldn't work very well with the system. After all, there'd really only be 5 cities, and they were such a tiny civ...
