  • Which Civs for an Expansion?

This is just a rehash of Firaxis' poll on potential Civ4 expansion civs.

I'm just trying to discover the current sentiment on what Civs belong in an expansion during the dearth of new Warlords information.

    Multiple Choice Voting is Allowed.

Well, as I stated above, this poll is a rehash of the Civs that Firaxis included in their poll, without any additions by me.
This list does not represent which civs I would prefer to see in a game.

I remember voting in that poll.

They also offered a choice of alternative leaders among which was Vlad Lenin. He would have made for a far better inclusion than Jo Stalin.

Then again, when you open things up to a majority-vote you're going to get lowest common denominator results.

Here's links to CivFanatics' exit polls after Firaxis' big Poll, so you can see how the fans voted back then.

                    Which Civs:
Time to fess up. :D Civs: Mayans, Babylonians, Sumerians, Iroquois, Celts, Koreans, Carthage, Byzantines. I only could post 20 options so 4 civs had to be left off. My apologies to the Seljuk Empire, Numidians,Holy Roman Empire, and Bulgarians. :p

                    Which Leaders

As you can see, the 4 most popular leaders made it into the expansion (with the notable exception of Pericles), and that's why I assume the other three civs will be the Babylonians, Ottoman Turks, and Mayans.

Okay I voted - mostly for Biblical-mentioned civs like the Hittites and Assyrians, which would be helpful for an Israel-themed scenario.

I'd also like to see Zulus just for the comedy value. If they include them please make sure to put a bone through Shaka's nose this time.

Yeah the Irish, what a fantastic idea for a new civ. They could have Paddy Ashdown for leader. World-shattering civilization those Irish (will Firaxis consider adding anyone to this game as long as they aren't Israel?) ....

It'd serve you right if Firaxis put them in the expansion!
