I think IND is still rather weak: 50% bonus isn't really that exciting.
Having said that. I'd like to comment that AGG is one of the most useless (and unexciting) traits for the games I usually play. Maybe I'll change my style for this one.
I'd also like to comment that IND is better at higher skill levels. It is sometimes the only way to get those important early wonders. Forest chops go back up to 30 for chopping wonders. Of course, this is "only" Emperor levelWe can save IND for Diety.

The only difference I notice with Ice Age is less usuable terrain. This can help at deity, since it limits the rapid early expansion of the AI somewhat.
Also congrats on the best finish in the last game. How many specialists did you end up with? How many beakers near the end?

The AI routinely builds Oracle before 2000 BC on Deity now, I don't think industrious is worth much there unless playing OCC. I don't really attempt wonders before Great Library / Hanging Gardens except for Pyramids with stone within the capital radius.
Industrious is pretty good at emperor and below.
