  • It was only on noble, standard size map with ~10 civs, playing as India

I was mostly minding my own business on my own little island, had the enemies not been so friendly they could have taken me out easily
I only had one city with a good production rate, which was my capital/wonder city. Building the space ship was my only way to victory, but with only one production city it took a long time to finish
This space is empty... or is it?

    • I don't think the Greeks want me to get through there to the ports of those to cities. I've been using Amphibious attacks.

              • Hang on, how are those two cities that close together...there are supposed to be two squares between them. Or doesn't this apply on separate islands...even if they are both parts of your empire?

                • It is two squares between cities, but I'm not sure it applies over water.

Then they're supplying water to each other, somehow, using the same aqueduct

If two cities are on different continents (or islands), the two squares-away rule doesn't apply.

                            • A benevolent Bermuda triangle where the aliens help instead of abduct? A lost isle where the Atlanteans help the poor scurvy-ridden sailors? I thought about how to explain this for a while.

                              The answer?

I must have discovered the location of the City of the Mer-People!
