Those whales or fish (doesn't matter which) are useless as a tile to be worked, given the extreme amount of other food available. The plains/hill, extra river tiles, and fewer useless Ocean squares are what it's all about.Originally posted by padillah

Plus more room to build workshops when the time comes... although whenever I play Rome (only if I get it from Random) the game is usually long over by then. Rape at Iron, indeed
