Hm, I cannot decide between Religion, Eleminated ICS, Overhauled Diplomacy (especially as it probably stops the annoyance from Civ III that all AIs share their technologies between themselves for free) and the Improved Combat System.

Therefore I´d put all of them on the first place.

On second place I would put improved moddability and Great People/Specialists and Civics

and on third place everything else
Tamsin (Lost Girl): "I am the Harbinger of Death. I arrive on winds of blessed air. Air that you no longer deserve."
Tamsin (Lost Girl): "He has fallen in battle and I must take him to the Einherjar in Valhalla"

      ICS = Infinite City Sprawl
Basically it means making lots of lots of lots of cities as the by far best way to win the game.

Voted for "other". I am soo happy that the AI will now respect borders, and only cross into my lands if at war with me or if I have an open border agreement. In Call To Power I stooped to constructing and placing units to block paths through my territories... It will be so refreshing not to have any uninvited wanderers getting in the way!

            It doesn´t mean "just" that,
but obviously also that you can concentrate on some few good placed cities without risiking to fall back too much behind the in the technology race against the AI (whereas in the other parts it was neceasary to regularly build new cities, just to keep up with the AI)

I also think that nationhood better describes their religious inspired patrioism then freedom of speech.

I voted "other" for civics, although religion and the curbing/death of ICS also sound very promising.

My favorite new feature in Civ IV? There's just too many to choose from. I love the civics, though it does seem like the civics was better in SMAC, but let's see how it feels when playing the game. I also love to see religion in Civ IV. Anti-ICS is also a great step in the right direction... I could go on forever, most new features sounds great

But in the end I ended up spending my one vote on the non-linear tech tree, someone I have wanted since Civ I

The worst feature in the game is that voice over from that old guy. I might turn this off if possible

Also, since he is 74 years old, it is cool that he still do stuff like this.

                    You mean like talking?
This space is empty... or is it?

Personality cults are a bit rarer on this side of the puddle.

Why would I want to listen to some old guy I don't know? It just makes it harder to listen to my music

I am, but I don't like star trek (it was from that he was from, right?)

You mean SF as in Sci-fi right?
