    Cast Star Wars: Heir to the Empire

    Let's turn this into a forum game. If Star Wars 7 is Heir to the Empire, who would you pick for the following roles:

    Movie Director
    Luke Skywalker
    Han Solo
    Princess Leia
    C-3P0 (yeah he needs an actor too)
    Lando Calrissian
    Grand Admiral Thrawn
    Talon Karrde
    Mara Jade

    And maybe some minor characters if you're up to it...
    Wedge Antilles
    Captain Pallaeon
    Joruus C'baoth

    I'll be honest, I had to flip through the book again to remember the name of the captain and the evil jedi master.

    EDIT: Because Imran is a nitpicky dickhead, I will add this clarification: The books take place like a year after Ep 6 and if you haven't read them just pick actors for the characters you know about.

      I dunno. he had a pretty secondary role in the Zahn books. He flew a fighter. I think once he even shot a gun. He would pretty much be an interchangeable red shirt except that he had a couple speaking lines in the films.

                If more than like 2 people on this forum had read this book maybe this would be an interesting game .

                  Obviously a bunch of people have read it based on the other thread. And you can cast everyone but the bottom five (not including wedge) without reading the books.

                    You can't if you don't know what timeline its supposed to be. I'd cast far different people for, say, Luke Skywalker depending on if it happened 2 minutes or 50 years after the end of Return of the Jedi.

                      Ok, so I saw its like 5 years after the original trilogy.... so:

                      Movie Director - Christopher Nolan
                      Luke Skywalker - Chris Evans (or maybe Vincent Kartheiser - he has had kind of Luke-ish blond hair in the past and can do the whinyness)
                      Han Solo - Karl Urban
                      Princess Leia - Evangeline Lilly or Cobie Smulders
                      C-3P0 (yeah he needs an actor too) - Who cares?
                      Lando Calrissian - Jamie Foxx
