Guild Wars is not an MMO. In many ways it's better though as although it doesn't have a large game world with lots of players playing simultaneously, the tactics are more developed than in any MMO on the market.

If you want a classifcation just drop the bit that isn't true - massively. MORPG works fine.

Competetive Online Role Playing Game. Though, personally, I'ld say "casual online role playing game" fits nicely too.

Which chapter did you start with, Gramps? And con and I will add you to our friends list if you give us a name.

Hell, we'ld even add you to our guild if you want a cape and stuff. But, we are EXTREMELY casual guild, and the alliance has been more absent than not lately as well.

What i was more speaking of was interacting in a virtual world environment, maybe as a farmer who builds his finances and then moves up the social rung..for lack of better wording

I guess a military type would be ok, say your a boot soldier...basic archer or what have you and have to earn gold to buy armor or a sword...to advance

Its free to play - all you pay for is the game(and they have some great bundles in the stores most of the time, so very good value for money if you're into mp type games).

It's one thing that makes we consider getting it, even though i'm not a mp kind of player most of the time.
