Snoopy/DrSpike:
Snoopy goes at Spike with a fervent blow to his kneecap (1: 18). Spike strikes futilely at Snoopy but is easily parried (1: miss). Then Snoopy ripostes with a blow to Spike's torso (2: 18) while Spike lashes out at Snoopy with a furious strike at his head (2: 40). Finally, Snoopy slashes Spike across the neck (3: 20), which finishes off Spike, who cannot manage more than a gesture at Snoopy (3: Miss).

Winner: Snoopy by KO

Match 6: Round 2


What story?

[b]Spacius Maximus vs. The Doctor[/b]

Spacius took up a defensive stance,([b]1:Miss![/b])and awaited the inevitable onslaught by The Doctor. The Doctor paced slowly around his advisory for a few moments and then assaulted from the rear! Spacius only just managed to twirl around and block the blow.([b]1:Miss![/b]) Spacius again waited for The Doctor to attack,([b]2:Miss![/b]) but he seemed nervous and his shield wavered in the air. The Doctor struck at that moment and his rapier penetrated deeply into Spacius' flesh.([b]2:Hit!(17)[/b]) Spacius finally decided to attack himself launched himself towards The Doctor. The Doctor tried to move out of the way but it was too late, and Spacius sword hit him hard in the back.([b]3:Hit!(25)[/b]) But The Doctor endured , turned around and tried to hit Spacius one more time but hit steel.([b]3:Miss![/b])

[b]Ludd vs. Snoopy[/b]

Ludd stood in the ring with his arms crossed; not planning to move a muscle.([b]1,2,3:Miss![/b]) Snoopy moved in for the kill and tried to find an exposed area to stab. He thought he found one wear Ludd's plate mail connected to his grieves. So he struck but hit steel!([b]1:Miss![/b])Ludd smiled coyly, apparently he had an extra layer of ring-mail under his plate mail. Snoopy again circled Ludd looking for any weakness, and finally decided the face was the only option. But Ludd was too tall and Snoopy too short; so Snoopy stood ten feet in front of Ludd and aimed his knife carefully. His Throw was right on, but at the last millisecond Ludd ducked and the knife went flying out over the tent and into the ocean.([b]2:Miss![/b]) Snoopy couldn't attack again,([b]3:Miss![/b]) so the round ended along with Snoopy's hope for the semis.

[b]Theben vs. Grumpius Trollium II[/b]

Theben was out to prove Grumpius' new found strategy was a failure, and stabbed him in the chest to prove it.([b]1:Hit!(24)[/b]) Grumpius struggled to breath but managed to land a hit on Theben's left arm.([b]1:Hit!(3)[/b]) But Theben had the upper hand, and stabbed Grumpius in the chest again!([b]2:Hit!(24)[/b]) Grumpius could no longer breath, but with his last breath struck Theben mightily in the lower body with his tri-staff([b]2:Hit!(23)[/b]) before fainting. The team of medics only just managed to revive Grumpius so he could fight in the next match.

I guess it's not as simple as 1 0 49 x 2 after all.

Hitting Ludd is HARD. Frankly I think it's easier to go up against a 20/0 player than a 0/20 player... I screwed up the first round (obviously) and had a basically impossible task in the second, since all he had to do was 0/33/0 0/33/0 0/34/0 and then in order to hit, at 8/12 (-6 to attack/-12 to power), I had to have something like 40/0/10 in order to hit at all - which of course does not do any damage; so I had to hope he screwed up and didn't do 0/33/0. Unfortunately, Ludd is not a complete moron

Against you, it may be slightly easier... We'll see.

I would like to point out that in our match I took 44 points off of Ludd for a mere 8 points of damage in return.
