Match 7, Round 1


After a long delay, Match 7 finally begun. The delay was caused by one of the gladiators, Felchum, who demanded that he needed drastic plastic surgery and a name change if he were to fight again. He hoped that adopting a new persona would help him in the upcoming match; no one had the heart to tell him that he was fated to die.

[b]The Doctor vs. Snoopy[/b]

Snoopy needed this win if he hoped to move on to the semis, and he imaged that The Doctor was the Red Baron himself. The Baron showed his skills by stabbing Snoopy in the torso. ([b]1:Hit!(25)[/b]) But Snoopy struck back slicing off a long strip of skin and muscle down The Doctor's arm! ([b]1:Hit!(21)[/b]) The Doctor made a feeble attempt to hit Snoopy again but he was impended by the pain in his arm. ([b]2:Miss![/b]) Snoopy twirled around the side of his opponent and viciously pricked The Doctor([b]2:Hit!(16)[/b]). The Doctor mastered the pain and whipped his rapier through the air hitting Snoopy in the neck! Luckily it was a glancing blow so Snoopy kept his head.([b]3:Hit!(25)[/b]) Snoopy, although in great pain, managed to hit The Doctor one more time in the thigh before tho round ended.([b]3:Hit!(8)[/b])

[b]The Doctor: 55 HP Snoopy: 50 HP[/b]

The crowd cheered as The reinging champion Doctor walked out of the ring.
The rivalry between Ludd and Grumpius would finally be decided in the ring, and the audience hoped for a good fight.

[b]Ludd vs. Grumpius Trollium II[/b]

Ludd decided to attack first, and swung his mighty arm at Grumpius' head. Grumpius nearly ducked in time, and most of the blow was dissipated.([b]1:Tie!(.5)[/b]) Grumius tried his best to hit Ludd in an exposed part of his body, but his mace was too big and couldn't find any of the crevices.([b]1,2,3:Miss![/b]) Between these attacks Ludd rammed Grumpius, who managed to keep his feet,([b]1:Tie!(1)[/b]), and kicked him in the shins. ([b]1:Tie!(.5)[/b]) (damage rounded up, as per the rules.)

[b]Ludd: 100 HP  Grumpius Trollium: 97 HP[/b]

This dull outcome resulted in more bottles being thrown onto the helapad.

[b]Felchum/Dark Cloud vs. Theben[/b]

Felchum/Dark Cloud punched Theben in the nose to start the match.([b]1:Hit!(8)[/b]) "Thats for saying I can't do math!" Theben smiled deviously, stepped back and said nothing."Too afraid to attack are you?" Felchum/Dark Cloud yelled. Apparently Theben was, and didn't move.([b]1:Miss![/b])Felchum/Dark Cloud "Cowardice won't save you!" and Felchum/Dark Cloud ran forward and hit THeben in the side with his sword.([b]2:Hit!(10)[/b]) Then Theben struck like some kind of deranged wasp and stung Felchum/Dark Cloud in the gut.([b]2:Hit!(14)[/b]) Felchum/Dark Cloud fell and couldn't manage another strike.([b]3:Miss![/b]) Theben buzzed in for the kill and struck at Felchum/Dark Cloud's heart, who luckily rolled over at just that moment in order to throw up. The blow struck his ribs instead and was not fatal.([b]3:Hit!(14)[/b])
