We all learn lessons in life. Three years ago, the lesson was that when you release highly anticipated downloadable con…
I love this part:
But I will say that if my girlfriend were ever to find out that I'd spent seven quid out of our joint account on 150 minutes of gameplay that I only half-enjoyed, she'd kick me in the face. She wouldn't even hesitate. This is why I shred the statements.
I'm holding out for the third DLC that raises the level cap and adds new quests in the DC area."Stuie has the right idea" - Japher

The problem I have with Fallout is that the combat is so boring once you level up that the side missions become boring too. While in Mass Effect the side missions were repetitive but because I really enjoyed the combat system in Mass Effect it made the side missions fun.Originally posted by DrSpike View PostI think Mass Effect, whilst very good, is not as strong a game as Fallout 3. It starts really well and has fun combat (better than Fallout 3), but the side quests are not really that interesting. It's not a big deal to me but the game is also more linear, and much smaller (20-25 hours with all side quests versus 50-60 for Fallout).
It's finely balanced but I think that the world that Fallout 3 creates pips Mass Effect. My prediction based on your posts is that when you've played both you will reach the same conclusion.Kids, you tried your best and you failed miserably. The lesson is, never try. -Homer

I'm about half way through, and I'm enjoying it. It is only a few hours of new material, but it's a good three hours. It adds a nice bit to the background of the story, and it finally lets you use a Gauss rifle.Originally posted by Alinestra Covelia View PostAnybody tried the Operation Anchorage add-on yet?
