The ones I read were pretty damning, even if the scores weren't particularly low. Basically "the plot is as shallow as it could possibly be, as are the characters."
I'm disappointed, looks like Mass Effect is going to be the only good RPG on the 360 for a while

80% is good, for say, a 3rd party wii game. Its not good when its developed by Sakaguchi and Toriyama and billed as the PS3 Final Fantasy killer, the game that will make MS consoles competitive in Japan.Originally posted by Asher

Eternal Sonata is getting better reviews. Also, I don't really trust mainstream site reviews of niche games like JRPGs.
I'll probably get both games, but only when the onslaught of triple A's is polished off. Probably sometime late next year.
