I own all the consoles. Eventually a decent exclusive game will come out for it. My SO is also a huge JRPG fan.

How does that make sense as opposed to buying a console after a game that you want comes out for it? You generally seem to be in the habit of owning quite a few products you don't like. You own a PS3 and a Wii, yet you criticize both very strongly.Solver, WePlayCiv Co-Administrator

I collect them all because between my SO and I, we play them all. The money's there, they're really not all that expensive in the long-run. For the PS3, I honestly wouldn't have gotten it had it not been for the Bluray. While I own precisely 2 PS3 games (Resistance and Motorstorm), I've watched probably 20 Bluray movies on it since I've gotten it and have a lot more coming.Originally posted by Solver

I criticize both very strongly because there are some major flaws with each of the consoles, ones that are evident with long-term ownership of both."The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."

I daresay the flaws with the 360 in terms of reliability are pretty undeniable now (though not a problem if youre getting a NEW 360 now, one hopes) and Asher doesnt deny the undeniable.Originally posted by Solver

They still haven't fixed the reliability problems, AFAIK. So the consoles is still a POS. I hope they'll fix the problem when they'll start using the smaller chips.Originally posted by lord of the mark

They fixed the reliability problems a while ago (2 months) with the additional HSF and new motherboard layout."The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."

My replacement is brand new, so I'm not concerned. My problem was a faulty powersupply (brick) anyway."The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."

Testing for long-term reliability of new components is usually quite difficult to do on a new product."The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."

If everyone's update worked as expected, there is no point in whining. The fact is, it didn't for most people -- at least initially."The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."
