i decided not to play. PVP balance is looking rather ****ty right now.

that and mmo wasnt really for me anyway. I tried a lil bit of raiding mainly cause i had friends in Hard core guild and got tagged along for ride, but mainly i played for pvp. and frankly i can get better pvp experience from non mmo.

and its gonna suck starting later because of gear gap.... so im not even gonna bother.

I would buy it if Blizzard hadn't reduced hunters to a laughing stock in PvP in addition to making PvP itself a laughing stock and making arena participation mandatory for getting PvP gear.

WoW has been superseded as a fantasy MMO for PvP by Warhammer Online, which is actually delivering decent and competitive PvP. All Mythic must have done is gone through the WoW forums and taken all the intelligent posts on PvP and implemented the suggestions. For example, they made PvP flagging zonal, so that competitive PvP happens instead of upper level rogues hunting lowbies.

I might still buy it if the PvE levelling to the cap is as good as Burning Crusade was. But then I'd only play it until I hit the cap. I have no desire to raid again.

I feel the same way about 40 man raiding, but they have 5 man heroic dungeons now, and 10 man versions of the 25 man dungeons (which have replaced the old 40 man marathons).
