week later... No replies yet... i guess everyone doesnt care about this game. I too, stopped playing this all together as well to just keep playing dota. After you beat the SP for CNC story plot, the MP doesnt really offer much once you break the game down with its major balancing flaws.

Scorpion massing vs Paladin massing was in comparison rather boring, but that's basically what it appears C&C3 is, mass tanks with a minimum of light vehicle anti-infantry/air or lose (either outright to rush, or lose control of the map).
    1. infantry transport is simplified by calling air transport skill. So its actually better by having the ability to move infantries at anytime anywhere when needed. It still doesnt matter cause infantry is crap in this game anyway. with only infantry like shadow team defying the rules of RTS logic by being resilient to infantry attacks...

    2. Massing vehicles was nowhere near effective in generals because the balance of power was more toward infantries, the complete opposite of CNC3's system. thats why inf gen and toxic gen were so popular and air gen could deal with not building tank type vehicles.

If you want to play a competitive RTS play WC3 since you have that, or SC if you can take the graphics, or from the more recent games Dawn of War is highly regarded amongst the serious RTSers.

      Don't play C&C.

man i havent played tft in a long time. ive been busy playing dota all the time, that i completly forgot about the actual game

now sc, I choose to retire from the scene and not play anymore. I had my moment and its time for new generation to own. I still watch the matches and keep up with the SC times and how it evolves, but if I were to play now it would be just too different for me to adapt anymore.

speaking of which, last time i watched a match vid was Bisu beasting on savior on that huge upset a month ago... I wonder if the Protoss crazed phase of dominance started after that match...

now for Dawn of War... is ther alot of ppl playing MP? I played the winter assault and kinda passed it off cause i really didnt like the squad system that Dawn and company of heros uses... maybe ill blow the dust off of my copy of DoW if u say its good MP game....
        :-p

I haven't played it online but there is a decent community, and it was at WCG for the last couple of years. It's certainly worth a shot if you are after a new MP RTS.

So it really does require Vista! That explains the problem I had getting ti to work then.

XP will be fine, if you meet the system requirements.

Well as far as I can tell I do meet them and it still refuses to work.
