theres mass chaos and confusion in street fighter community because of this game... some purist ppl are saying game should play exactly the same, some are demanding balance changes... some are even demanding new features and option in gameplay....

I personally would like to see some changes (mainly because I play a low tier character... :-p ) but i too am afraid that capcom is more likely to just screw the whole balance up if it isnt arcade perfect....

Hmm it's a toughie.

Given that the first XBLA game was an arcade perfect version maybe there is some mileage in making a few tweaks. But as you suggest it's a double edged sword.

Nerf Blanka obviously though.

One thing that is clear is there's still a big market for 2D fighters and hopefully that wont go unnoticed.

For better or worse, the Wii is a global power and N has to ship to all three regions, compared to the 360, which only needs to supply 2. If the Wii would abandon the Japanese market like the Xbox has, then their sales wouldn't be down at all.

Uh...what? The Xbox 360 is not abandoned in Japan.

And there are way more than 3 regions. The 360 is also in Korea, India, Mexico, South Africa, etc while the Wii is not.

this is a remake of ST (super street fighter 2 turbo) correct?

theres alot of bull crap characters ST, but of all character i wanna see chun li get berfed. that whore has been top tier in every single street fighter game ever released. :-(
