Quests are for individual characters. You can solo most of them, but some need groups and in that case each character in the group needs to actually have the quest.

Pretty much, WoW is a PVE game.

If you have a full set of tier 2 and up it may take a while to replace items. The earlier tier sets still have the set bonuses going for them.

But, If you only managed to get hold of one piece of tier 2 etc..., then yeah, some greens may be better. But, i'm not certain they are worth breaking a set up over.

Although I have no tier anything so i'm happy about the greens.

How hard is it generally to find a group of people who are willing to go on a specific quest or whathaveyou with you?

For most quests not too hard, especially now since it's all new and everyone is doing the same quests.

It's server dependent too. An old server or one with a low population of players may make it harder to find a group. On a new one, you will hate the constant flow of people.

Also, class specific quests can be hard to get a group for. Sometimes it's hard to find a group that wants to help a paladin get his hammer quest done, for example, if there is nothing in that particular dungeon for them.

Yeah, Black Fathom Depths is a stupid dungeon. I have played 2 characters through those levels and neither has done it (I had a bigger character run me for the hammer).

I should clarify my statement....each player in the group doesn't need the quest to be in the group and play, they just need it to get credit for the quest. For example, just because the group leader has the quest doesn't mean you will get credit for it if you don't have it yourself.

Oh, and you can usually find folks who are obviously doing the same quest at you, and a lot of times you can group up with them for that one quest. Or, I've seen people not group up, but kill the big baddie and then stick around a bit to help others on the same quest kill the baddie.

I only have a 6 piece tier 1 set (with a few odd epix) so even with the bonuses some of those greens are going to be in pretty fast.

Some advice, if I can pick your ears. I've been reading that high level Tailoring is crappy. The big bags have very long cooldowns (96 hours for one of 'em). I'm thinking of jumping ship on Tailoring (though I'm around 150 in it) and taking up Enchanting (though I realize that'll cost me big time). Is that a good idea, or should I stick to my bagmaking-ness?

They have cooldowns on tradeskills? Good lord.

If it were me I'd never restart a tradeskill at 150 (they don't play a big enough role in the game, just something to do whilst you are levelling up and a small source of cash), but ymmv.

Tailoring is best on a cloth wearer since for nice craftable pieces (though there aren't many) like robe of the archmage it's essentially bind on craft.

However guilds can always use people who can make craftable resistance gear for raiding (which tends to be sellable/tradeable), so if raiding is anything like the same in the x-pack you may as well stay with tailoring imo.

                          Also, enchanting is teh suxxor!

I heard that in VG you have a 50% chance of imploding every time you craft, and if you do you have to hunt down all 324 pieces of your body then do a 5 part quest to reattach it together using just your eyeballs.

                            Challenging game that VG.

Yes, to prevent a flooding of the marketplace of very high end materials (eg, mooncloth).

Sounds good . I think I'll go for that. As a Druid, I basically use... the bags .
