Actually, HoI2 (+Doomsday) has recently overtaken Civ2-4 and SMAC in total hours played - combined!!! It´s by far the best strategy game focussing on historical events that I´ve ever seen.

Similarily, EU2 and - with some modding - EU3 are great games, too! Victoria is one I´ve regret not having bought, as I´m addicted now but unable to play due to losing my disc image... Now I´ll have to spend 25 Euros getting a game from 2003...

- Commandos 3
- Sim City 3000
- The Guild 2

It's Asher FFS, hence it can be only a troll. Although I agree, HoI2 with its steep learning curve is not really a game for him. That, plus playing Canada is super boring.

A friend of a friend has a PS3 and we wanted to try the new FPS from Free Radical Design, called "Haze". Apparently it was supposed to be a serious game with two asymmetric but well balanced factions and would feature a gritty plot about compulsory drug use.

The friend is now unwilling to let us play the game as he says he's afraid we'll laugh at him. He was very disappointed with the game.

He should have done a modicum of research before parting with his cash and boasting about it. The game was pretty universally panned.

GTA 4 is abysmal. And it looks like Haze has such gritty realistic cutscenes, I don't see why anyone could not like it http://www.eurogamer.net/tv_video.ph...597&size=large

Angry? I? I just translated. I've only bought M:TW 1, and that cheaply. It was a game I did not like. So I've never bought any of the others.
