I like it, it's near perfect, but somehow I have no cravings to play it and even caught myself to dig out old games from the shelf so I have something different to play. Which would explain my recent return to NWN, btw.

For what it is worth, I get the same feeling.
I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

Well I haven't actually played SP that much either. However, I do think it's a great game - it's me that has changed. In the last couple of years I have definitely tended to play MP games more, including RTS, FPS and MMO.

YEah, I also think Civ4 is a great game, I just can't get around to play it as much as previous Civs..

Yep, it's most likely me, who has changed. I did not have the "one more turn" feeling for a long time. It probably died after Civ3 PtW.

I play MMO (tho not much at the moment, only guild events) and SP/MP RPG. Then I play Paradox games, which go as RTS/TBS conglomerate. I can't stomach real RTS (RoN, AoE and the like) and FPS however.

So what, does that mean that people do change ?

I'm wondering, really, I haven't really played RTS games for about 2 years now, and am not getting the desire to do so now. Would that mean that I am tired of the genre overall?

At least I'm certainly not tired of TBS or the Civ genre . I do, and always had, get "break periods" when I have no desire to play Civ, but overall, I'm still a civver. And probably will be.

                  Good site, Sn00py.

Seems my PC is good enough to run Oblivion.

Yeah, good stuff. But I am a little bit surprised by this warlord unit. Is it some kind of combined army and Great General perhaps?

The expansion pack got announced. I think I'll buy the combined pack, if there will be one, sometime during autumn then. If it's at the same price Civ4 currently is selling for.
