Banzai!
A last ditch effort by written off Dr. Point produced exactly the same effect banzai charges produced during WWII - absolutely nothing.
At least he died honourably.
Dr. Point attacks! Min Grah, but hits shield
For failing to obtain a base in the turn immediately following the turn in which he became baseless, Dr. Point is eliminated.

Divisio Regnorum
Following their disastrous attack on Kit Chuss, the Imperial forces led by Senator Danq and the forces of his allies, Dr. Point and Captain Imperium took different routes of retreat and were parted for a while. During this time Senator Danq attempted to contact his allies on several occasions. But he received no response. It seemed to him that his allies had deserted him and that once again he was on his own. The situation really appeared bleak.
But Senator Danq was determined to uphold the Imperium no matter the cost. He was even prepared to share his power with his allies, if that was required to keep them on his side.
********
Once he returned to Coruscant, Senator Danq tried once again to contact his allies. Captain Imperium responded at last and promised to come to Coruscant for consultations. He broke to Danq the terrible news of Dr. Point's utter defeat and destruction in his attack on Min Grah. This meant that Danq and Captain Imperium were the last two champions of the Empire.
But if Captain Imperium were to continue to assist Senator Danq, he wanted a greater share of power. For that reason the Rump Senate passed the Act on Division of Rule, or Divisio Regnorum in Imperialish, which legalised de facto division of rule in the Empire between Senator Danq and Captain Imperium. Both were elected Consuls for the next year and they also strengthened the Pact of Steel by including an Addendum which stipulated that the two would defend each other's bases by means of allied defence.
After the signature of Addendum I to the Pact of Steel, Captain Imperium left Coruscant very pleased. Senator Danq was not at all pleased, but he really had no choice. In his struggle against the Triad of Evil and in his mission to restore the Empire in its entirety he needed allies and he needed them bad. But he didn't know how bad he needed them. He will soon discover that.

Known Methods
For when Captain Imperium attempted to send his fleet to assist in defence of Senator Danq's bases, a spy sent by Kit Chuss prevented him from doing that.
But when Senator Danq tried to protect Captain Imperium's bases, his fleet too was prevented by an insidious spy planted in Coruscant by the most evil traitor who still had access to computer systems and knew some security codes, albeit older ones, but which still checked out, guess who - Polly Siffan (evil and treacherous).

Vulture Culture
Of all vultures in the entire universe, the greediest and the most unscrupulous one is Mr. Y. He specialises in attacks on weakened opponents. His next prey is Lord Vetko. Mr. Y has decided to finish him off.
Mr. Y attacks! Lord Vetko but hits shield
This time the vulture missed his target. He lost only one torpedo titan in this attack though.
