I actually wasn't sure about that one myself. I wouldn't object to a clarification of that rule indicating that anyone who within _ minutes, and in the immediately succeeding post, changes an illegal guess to a legal one (but must change it to a new guess, and not simply remove the guess), is allowed to do so.
Or we could penalize people for typing too fast
