I dunno. I stopped building defenses. All my colonies are defenseless, defenses just get destroyed when they are attacked so they are a waste of resources. I just make sure there is nothing to gain in attacking me

Edit: And on an unrelated note, a question; what's the best (most efficient) method for power generation. I have a level 7 solar plant and a couple of solar sattellites; are the fusion plants worth moving toward?

Yikes. I could easily spare 650 deut. I is just getting it to you quickly that would be a problem. I think I could consolidate my probes and get you 50 at a time or so, but that is still 13 trips at about 4 minutes per trip.

Anyone closer??


As for energy........ I have gone with a hybrid. Cold Planets = Fusion Plants, Warm Planets = Solar Sats but at the end of the day the majority (or ideally all) of you power should be coming from Solar Plants, I turn my Fusion plants up while I upgrade my Solar Plants and down again when the Solar Plant is done. Gradually increasing again as I upgrade mines.

I think Skanky has gone almost exclusively with Solar Plants. Has anyone else gone one way or the other?

Now the defecit is down to about 550; we're producing 133/hour. And getting to me immediately isn't a problem at this point, since I've started research on laser 4 (simply because I have so much metal and crystal laying around here) which still has an hour to go. I suppose it's just a matter of how much clicking you want to do...

i lost like 40k in resources(Lfighters) but i scoop it all up in a few minutes with recyclers,so no prob.(i planned ahead and sent the cyclers to the df first)

It was me that was asking and it looks like you have done very well to me!

Now that you have fleets in the air you should have no further problems for a while, but if you need anything to keep you going be sure and ask, having stronger alliance members makes us all stronger as an alliance.

Edit: Someone else cleaned him out He has about 12k total resources left right now of which you can only get 6k (not enough to fill 2 small cargos let alone 3 )

Sorry Jonny, if you are thinking of recalling your fleet let me know first and I will scan the other 2 first and see if there is anything left. But at your stage there is nothing wrong with getting 6k (and by the time you get there it may accumulate more
