Professor Morrisa arrived safe at Colony I's bases, and now in full control of all its facilities and units, issued orders to sit and build. But Colony I had already issued a different set of orders, so this was one more time that Morrisa overrode what she thought were ridiculous orders issued by a machine. In this case the two sets of orders conflicted and caused Colony I to miscalculate the available BPs and to issue orders for construction of a greater number of ships than humanly or machinely possible. When the feedback of this miscalculation reached Colony I mainframe, it caused another glitch in the system and consequently two laser battleships were launched toward coordinates 187.69.155.

Back at coordinates 187.69.155, at the bases of the intrepid explorer Captain Imperium.

"Sir, we must raise shields this turn. The risk of attack is too great", a Lieutenant said to Captain Imperium.
      Captain Imperium shook his head.
"Negative Lieutenant. I have never raised shields in my life. I'm a fearless fighter pilot. I have no need for shields. Give me fighters and watch my enemies cower!"
"Your courage is legendary throughout the Universe Sir, but might I point out one fact? We have no fighters for you to fly."

There was a moment of silence while Captain Imperium weighed his options.

      "Raise shields", he ordered.

And so the shields were raised just in time to prevent the ill-fated Colony I attack.

      Colony I attacks! Captain Imperium

The attack was abortive, but the casualties were nil because of the meagre size of the attacking fleet.

      • Under orders by Imperial Regent Vetko, General Ordin was preparing his entire fleet for an attack on Captain Imperium. His preparations at Y Industries Headquarters were progressing smoothly, all was set for the attack when engineers started to report failure of all major systems on all ships. It was a computer virus that destroyed all command protocols. This virus could only have come from the Y Industries mainframe. An investigation into this matter showed that an agent used his still valid credentials to upload the virus. The identity of the culprit was soon discovered: It was Vice-President of the Y-Danz joint venture delegated by Mr. Danz.

General Ordin was forced to stay home this turn.

Mr Danz was making sure the most loyal ally of Imperial Regent Vetko did not come to his master's aid.

Poly Siffan and Danz attack! Lord Vetko

Poly Siffan: 7TD, 8FB, 13TB, OoB: MTT-FFL, back off, bunch together, fight to the death!, attack whoever is there!
Danz: 2FT, 4TT, 2FD, 5TD, 6FB, 4TB, 1LC, OoB: MTT-FFL, back off, bunch together, fight to the death!, attack whoever is there!
Allied total: 2FT, 4TT, 2FD, 12TD, 10FB, 17TB, 1LC, MTT-FFL, back off, bunch together, fight to the death!, attack whoever is there!
Lord Vetko: 34LB, 1LC, OOB: MLL-FFT, close in, spread out.

Shortly before the attack a firebrand preacher sent by Reverend Banobi caused unrest among workers in one of the factories under Lord Vetko's control and prompted them to stop working on construction of Vetko's new shield generator. But this unrest was the least of Lord Vetko's worries.

            • The allies sent only part of their combined fleet, but this part was skilfully measured to assure victory. Their OoB was superb and Lord Vetko had absolutely no chance.

              • The allies destroy the entire Vetko's fleet and he does not deal a single pont of damage. Poly Siffan receives 6 bases and her ally Danz receives 5.

Lord Vetko is deposed and arrested.

                • But shortly after this, another huge fleet shows on the sensors. It is the fleet of righteous saviour Reverend Banobi.

His orders received from Jebus himself are to attack Regent Vetko and destroy him, for Jebus has told Banobi that Vetko is not human but a demon that must be destroyed.

As the fleet approached Regent Vetko's space, Reverend Banobi addressed his followers.
"We are on a true path of Jebus. Our struggle is against the evil. Regent Vetko is a demon, Jebus spoke to me and told me that, and his sins cry out for God's punishment. We shall be the hand of God. We shall exact a swift punishment. But know this my friends. There will be casualties in the fight to come, but we shall carry the day in the end. The fallen shall be martyrs. May JEBUS smile on us all."

However, when they entered the system formerly controlled by Lord Vetko, they noticed that he was no longer in power. Having no sanction from Jebus to attack the new owners of Vetko's bases, Ken Banobi ordered his superior fleet to turn back home.

No. I am but a poor, uneducated seaman. I spent my formative years learning how to pilot a ship, not learning proper grammar. That's the domain of the priests.

With regards to Jaguar, as I told Joncha, I knew he'd attack me. Not much I could do to stop it though.
